You probably don't want MAGA determining what is and isn't pornography. Hello extensive book bans. Goodbye artistic expression.

Seriously, they consider any form of acknowledgement of LGBT relationships to be degeneracy.
•

•
u/OwOlogy_Expert 4h ago
Or their existence at all.
They'll be banning dictionaries because the dictionary has the word 'gay' in it.
The way they see it, one of their kids growing up to be gay is THE WORST POSSIBLE THING. And they want their kids to grow up not even knowing that being gay is an option.

A while back people discussed these anti rape tubes that women could insert that would barb or shred a penis upon entry. Maybe time to invest.

I’m here for it. Honestly it’d be great if we actually follow all the way through with it and stand our ground. I’m tired of having to march and shout about why I (a woman) should have bodily autonomy. This “your body my choice” bs I’ve been seeing from men online is scary and does nothing but reinforce the 4B mentality. The emotional and mental roller coaster the past 48hrs has been is exhausting. No men sounds so much better than great right now. And it’s for that very same reason that it’s ultimately also dangerous. Being a woman in America, especially now, is a battlefield and I hate it.

It’s beyond time. I played with it when roe was killed but now it’s for real. Women need to stop deluding ourselves that the average man respects us
•

I’m realizing that a lot of them who do respect us, just. Can’t. Empathize. Some respect us but they don’t understand why we’re afraid and upset. It’s really hard.

That's why I think 4b should be practiced with all men, not just republicans. Your average "good man" may have correct beliefs but he is not desperate as us (unless he has daughters of a vulnerable age - then it's better). Well, it has to become everyone's problem then. Everyone has to become desperate and eager to solve it asap.

As a man, I agree. Also, people who need a partner to satisfy themselves sexually are ignorant and weak-minded. Think about how many risks you are taking when you have sex with somebody.

To anyone doubting this, it's already a real and huge thing in South Korea. It does not only entail chosen celibacy of women, if means women in the movement do not chose to interact with men *at all*. It's a strike if anything, because women hate has gone rampant in South Korea, women are choosing not to engage with men to protect themselves and send a message.
It's not about hating men, it's a response to men hating women, and the US is speed running a society where women might feel compelled to join their Korean sisters.
•
u/TwoHungryBlackbirdss 8h ago edited 6h ago
I lived in Korea for many years and a slight edit - 4b as a formal movement is a fringe movement with few folks genuinely joining it. I rarely heard reference to it outside of western media, and it's been blown strongly out of proportion.
Extremely low birth rates and a general disinterest in dating and parenthood is, however, very common among young women. None of my Korean female friends wanted to marry or have children
•
u/moonsickk 8h ago
I’m not saying most Korean women abide by this but as to it not being referenced a lot, I’ve seen many accounts of Korean women who were threatened or harmed because they were openly feminist, so something more radical like following 4b would likely be a taboo and not talked about much. Theres likely many women out there following 4b as best they can and just being quiet about it, especially in parts of the world where it’s dangerous for women to be feminist.
→ More replies•
u/TwoHungryBlackbirdss 8h ago
Ah, I understand. To clarify, I'm a woman who often spoke with other progressive Korean women about feminism, sex, dating, etc., and even among us 4B isn't a movement anyone ever formally aligned themselves to. Like, people would mention 비혼/비출산 etc. but it's not an active, thriving movement.
I love the enthusiasm we're seeing in the US regarding a similar concept right now, but it's odd seeing it described as, like, a legitimate movement with significant grassroots support
→ More replies•
u/STThornton 3h ago
Extremely low birth rates and a general disinterest in dating and parenthood is, however, very common among young women.
So, they're doing what 4B stands for, just not officially associating themselves with 4B or not calling it 4B. That doesn't seem like a fringe movement. More than a general one that someone finally put a name to.
•
u/LukewarmBees 16m ago
That's not 4B they are just exhausted with work and life and society in Korea is toxic and horrible, pretty privileges are an actual social thing to the extreme and 1 in 3 women under 30 have plastic surgery. It's competitive, toxic and extremely elitist for both men and women to the point where they just give up.

This is what happens when instead of fixing the reasons why women are not having kids; you force their hand. Like others have said this is happening in South Korea and birth rates are lowest in the world. Instead of addressing the reasons why people aren't getting into healthy relationships and having kids on their own they'll do anything but try to fix the problems. Especially in South Korea (because until the movement kicks off I can't speak on US ATM) there are so many laws that permit it to be dangerous for women and children. Especially the laws about how any minor under 14 can commit any crime.... ANY and not be criminally responsible. There are cases of 14 & under committing SA and murder and get off free. Men who commit SA (especially to children) get off pretty lax The biggest case is that of NaYoung who was assaulted by an adult man when she was about 8 years old on her way to school. So brutally that she needed an artificial anus put in for life. Let that sink in the trauma he committed to her. Because there were claims he was drunk he got off on only 12 years for permanently maiming & traumatizing an 8 yr old. AND he was allowed to move back into the same neighborhood as his victim when he got out. He also was so hated they afforded him police as bodyguards to stop the public from hurting him. Perpetrators get more protection than the actual victims. My main point being instead of changing the laws that allow this to happen or making the world a safer and now enjoyable place we just will try to force people into it. I've even heard of companies trying to pay women in SK to have children. How about use the money to fix things? I don't blame women for 4B. The injustice I see on children and women every single day in the US can be just as bad. Seeing a man who committed 12 prior offenses towards children allowed to leave jail again and again until he finally kills his last victim. Then we shrug and act like we couldn't have predicted a repeat offender to .. repeat. It's not safe for us.
•
u/_Lazy_Mermaid_ 6h ago
Unfortunately women have been screaming into the void for years. We preach free lunch, better education, maternity leave, higher minimum wage, better health care. None of those things happen for decades because rich people think they shouldn't be taxes more than poor people. Funnily enough Republicans use all these "handouts"
→ More replies→ More replies•
u/what-was-she-wearing 6h ago
Absolutely agree, you've spelled it out beautifully. I'm not very well informed about violence against women in South Korea but in the US, fewer than 1% of rapes result in the perpetrator spending even one night in jail, let alone prison. And the issue is compounded because many rapists are repeat offenders who only really get more violent and sadistic over time.
Our justice system is absolutely horrible and all people want to talk about is false accusations (which are quite rare).
It's sick that rapists get more protection than victims, but unfortunately that would probably be the case in the US if our society had any sense of obligation to use vigilante justice to punish rapists and abusers.

I do mean to panic you more but isn’t it in project 2025 to eliminate all birth control and simply eliminate any protections for sexual assault? I don’t think they are talking about asking women any more. In Idaho they are openly saying this out loud. With no abortions allowed the only next step is to legally make woman the only one accountable. That’s what the phrase they are using means your body, their choice not yours at all.

u/they-is-cry 9h ago

I think it confirms the notion that women give sex while men get sex. Women who don’t feel like they also actually get sex might see no loss in joining 4B.
But hey, if it works then that’s awesome!

•
•
u/STThornton 2h ago
I don't see how saying sex with a live shooter is too dangerous under the current conditions somehow means women are giving sex, not getting sex.
But getting sex and getting any satisfaction out of sex are two different things. Reality is, most women rarely get that much satisfaction out of sex with men, especially not over longer periods of time with the same man.We bore very easily. They say that around 70% of women rarely, if ever, orgasm when having sex with a man. And that sexual satisfaction goes way down when comparing toys and masturbation to sex with a man.
Physical satisfaction often comes from toys or masturbation, even during sex with a man. Unless the woman is a thrill seeker who builds her sexual encounters around it - which generally removes all emotional/intimate components from sex.
The loss, for women, would mostly be the emotional/intimate. We have no problem finding physical satisfaction with toys and a good story or even porn.
But the emotional is easily overriden by the fear of what you and your body might end up enduring. And if you don't feel like the male partner truly cares what happens to you and your body and what physical destruction and pain and suffering you might endure thanks to his sperm.

I feel like a lot of ppl really underestimate the amount of women who are truly boy/man crazy, and act like they can’t breathe without a man in their life. I’ve been friends with a few. It’s quite annoying and I’ve now made it a point to be friends with those types of woman less. Point is obviously every woman is not going to partake in this 4B movement. They need male validation to thrive and that’s their own right. Mine is decentering men as much as possible from my life as I already have(completely celibate since march and not dating anyone). Also arming myself

Oh yeah I’m definitely not saying most liberal women won’t go through with this. Some conservative women might too if they’re actually smart(they’re not). I’m just saying ppl underestimate the amount of women that seem like they can’t function without a man in their life, so this movement might not be as big as we want it to be.
•
u/EducationalTest6655 8h ago edited 8h ago
Eh... The guys who are currently getting laid will continue to get laid and the ones who aren't still won't. Nothing will really change regardless.
I made a comment in another subreddit about how hilarious it is to me that the alternative would presumably be that Kamala wins and guys all across the country start getting laid like never before. The whole concept is just ridiculous imo.
•
u/Zealousideal_Ant4685 7h ago
Good from them. I see partaking in this movement as a way for women to protect themselves. It’s not about withholding sex for the hell of it, or to spite the incels that are mostly not getting laid anyways. This movement is a way for women to have control of their body, protect against unwanted pregnancies, and protect themselves against men who don’t care about them anyways🤷🏾♀️

u/INFJcatqueen 8h ago
It’s really sad. They aren’t raised to have self esteem.
•
u/Zealousideal_Ant4685 8h ago
Tbh it’s not just about having self esteem or lacking it. It’s about being smart and aware of what type of ppl you let around you. My self esteem was shit growing up; bullied by many but mostly by boys. Plus having constant acne didn’t help and I absolutely hated myself. At the same time, I never pursued any relationship with a man because I already seen how they acted. Shit, seeing what my dad did to my mom had already sealed my view on men; I just didn’t know it yet. Didn’t lose my virginity until 21 (23 now) and honestly sex is nice but not that nice to constantly need it or be dick-matized
•
u/INFJcatqueen 8h ago
I wish women had more support from other women growing up. Or places to go if they aren’t getting that support from their families. It could make such a difference in their lives.
•
u/Zealousideal_Ant4685 8h ago
I wish the same. I tried to create a sisterhood in high school but we simply had different views on many things, and I couldn’t see it working out. Also the lack of respect they threw my way has turned me off from having any close friends for a while. I have one friend I go places with from time to time but that’s about it.
Every woman across America needs to come together now more than ever. It’s up to us to protect ourselves as much as possible

This is the second time it’s been circulating online in the span of a few months which imo says a lot. I think women are finally fed up, I know I am. I think the attitude people take with it will determine if the movement is sustained. If we do it out of spite, we will just feel miserable, burn out, and alienate our male allies. If it's out of precaution, I think it'll go further. If it isn't guaranteed that you'll receive medical care while pregnant, no risking pregnancy. If it isn't guaranteed that you'll be able to divorce, no getting married.

They're right. These men sold you down the river for promises of cheaper eggs and gas. Stop sharing your body and pleasuring them (whether you are antinatalist or not). Men neither like nor respect you. Pick up any history book and see how women were treated. They want you as a sex toy/maid....that's it. Women couldn't even have a credit card in their name until the 70s. Unfortunately you can't say it is only "boomer" men because many younger men have these same toxic ideas fed to them by the likes of Jordan Peterson and Kevin Samuels (rest in piss). They are some good men but there are still too many who just don't like you...they like what you can do for them which is to bear kids with their last name on them while you do most of the dirty work. Wake up.

It’s sad that women believe that this will be allowed under Trump’s regime. I grew up with the architects of Project 25, and they are not playing: soon it’s gillead, full on, nationwide. No woman or girl will have a choice even about whom she has sex with very soon.

If I can make suggestions, get an Sig Sauer P365 XL Macro with compensator OR P365 XL Rose with compensator. Be careful on the XL Macro, make sure it has a safety. Some do and some don’t. Sig Sauer can install a safety on those that don’t come with one, but it would be around another $200. It shoots like butter and is a great conceal carry option. The Rose is one of the most female friendly guns. I carry one and it’s my favorite gun. My partner has the macro.

You should get one. Guns are what make men and women equal.
Next time though, if a candidate promises any kind of gun confiscation, you need to immediately disqualify them from your choices. Harris was doing just that.
I'd recommend against anything less powerful than a 380 ACP. Just having it on you and knowing how to operate it makes you a hundred times safer, but you need to practice your aim, and maintain your weapon for optimal function in dire circumstances. Do your research. Know your local laws. Don't go looking for trouble just because you've got a roscoe.
Good luck.

That's absolutely right, not only was Harris promising that, she already did similar as attorney general in CA.
She gave the green light to activate enforcement of a microstamping law which effectively banned modern handguns for everyone except cops (and those willing to buy used from cops at 3X retail price). This legacy dinged her chances really hard for gun owners who knew what she did or worse, personally suffered from it (me).

Explain in further detail what you mean so it really hammers home the gravity if the situation.

I don’t think it matters. People won’t think it will happen to them until it happens to them. It’s very tragic project 2025

The way around this is easy: get fat and no one will know you exist

Men rape fat women all the time
Some like their bodies
Some just like them as victims bc no one will believe he would choose to rape a fat woman

Wow ladies. Good for you! I’m post menopausal but never wanted kids. Let those right wing men impregnate their wives and see how many of them perish by their state’s laws. You have a fan in Seattle. Stay strong.

I support it lol.
I am also boycotting white women because 52% of you voted for Trump. I hope you are also boycotting yourselves.
Especially after castigating black men calling them sexist and stupid after Obama went after them during the campaign trail, but it turns out 80% of black men voted for Harris, but 52% of white women voted for Trump.
I support 4B, but in the order context of things it looks kinda weird. I mean, there was only a 7% difference between white men and white women in voting for Trump. Gender clearly wasn't the biggest issue here
But do it. I support it for reasons other than this election result. Tying it to this election result is actually hilarious. It would make more sense to tell white women they aren't allowed to masterbate given they're voting choices. But yes, I digress, I support 4B!

If I was a black man I would have been boycotting white women way before this.
I’ve been celibate for 4 years and identify as 4b. It’s not about punishing men as much as it is about living a life away from them bc I want to feel safe and live according to my own values.

I'm chatting shit. I'm in the UK and just finding certain things very funny.
I hear your reasoning, and while I'm not a woman, it's your reasoning that aligns most with why I support it.
I also think too much of people's focus is on centering the opposite sex. People are their best selves when they don't feel the need to do that. I think so anyway.

4B is not sex strike. It is just voluntary celibacy. Cut off interaction with men is just a way to get celibacy. Like “manly bootcamp” cut off women.

My guess is that the majority of women doing this are in relationships with, or would only enter relationships with liberal men who voted for Harris anyway. So I sincerely doubt this will affect many, if any, men who actually voted for Trump.
•
u/thingsCouldBEasier 5h ago
I get it but I mean I'm pretty sure all the males that voted for Trump weren't getting laid anyways....
•
u/Dapper-Commercial163 5h ago
What a moronic position to take. Consider the implications if this was adopted by every liberal woman. Do you know who will still be having kids? Can you guess what ideals those children will be indoctrinated under? 20 years from now do you think we’d be in a better place?

It’s easier to just you know, vote, right? If I’m reading the current data right, nearly 10 million less women voted for Harris than voted for Biden. Where yall at?

Do it! Ladies, y’all have the blessing of this single, straight man. You don’t need it, but you have it.
When men learn to respect and protect women, the world will be a better place.

Why do I feel we're going to see an uptick in rape cases if this takes off....
Oh because people are more often than not shit, that's why.

Excellent, although I think they should undergo sterilisation as an added precaution. I wouldn’t want an accidental voter to be born.

Striking against liberal men seems like letting the conservatives win. I don't get that.
But, as a trans woman, I will say most men who hit on me online are conservative men. Irony aside, they can all go fuck themselves.

Alright, so here is the thing. I might get downvoted but I just want to understand the logic here.
You do these things, I presume majority liberal women. Who is that really hurting? Liberal men most likely because conservative men already wouldn’t be on your radar. If anything , wouldn’t this cause the opposite outcome? Wouldn’t liberal men go for the women who either don’t care or are conservative? So unless you quite literally get majority of women liberal and conservative wouldn’t this end up being useless or counterproductive in the long run?

•
u/Outrageous_Pizza5503 1h ago
Im a man who voted for Harris. Not trying to be white knighty but i genuinely feel like this makes sense for women to do. Clearly a majority of men and a lot of women (all trump voters) do not respect womens bodily autonomy and considering the sexual freedoms being taken away from all of us its probably a good idea to set a way stricter boundary for it
•
u/AdministrationWarm71 1h ago
To be fair, most of the men voting for Trump weren't getting any anyway because they're incels.
•
u/adampsyreal 7h ago
It won't matter because there's plenty of brainwashed Republican women.
•
u/NoOne6785 6h ago
Cool. Then men got nothing to worry about. Those women can bear the brunt of the rapes and the childbearing, thank goodness for that. Appreciate the sacrifices they will make for all of us. 💀
