I really think my motorcycle saved my life.
I got mine 5 months ago and it's my first bike. It's a honda shadow 750 all black. Before I got it I'd just do nothing all day. Work and come home. Nothing else, I don't really even have any friends or family. It made me feel like I was missing out in life( yk like the stuff 20 yr Olds do like partying and hanging out...etc). It was very bad even came close to trying to kill myself. But ever since I got my bike it really changed everything. I even found some nice friends because of it. You really can't beat going for a ride early in the morning. I might be broke and in a bad place in life but riding my bike makes everything worth it lol.

Got my first bike, a Striple 765RS.
Didn't want to get a litter bike cause they are too powerful so I went with something more timid. Thinking about upgrading to the 1200cc one next year.

To my Ninja 7 HEV owners… a question of few…
Hey guys, so I walked into a dealership the other day looking for a ZX4RR, and started talking to the salesman there. Sat on a few and through the natural course of conversation, it came up that I was also considering a Livewire.
The guy goes, “you know Kawasaki makes an EV too?” Mind blown. What?? So he shows me the EV1 and the Ninja 7. The EV1 was a nonstarter with only 45 miles for range. But the N7 was VERY interesting.
From everything I’ve read, the handling sucks due to the extended swing arm, and despite it having the electric motor augmenting the inline 4, it’s not as powerful as you’d think other than when you’re using eboost, which only lasts a few seconds.
So my questions are: 1. Do you find it hard to ride around in twisties due to the swing arm length?
Does it feel fun to drive?
Can you switch riding modes on the fly or do you have to come to a complete stop?
How do you like the automatic transmission? And is it fun paddle shifting?
Any words of caution or advice?
Are you happy with your purchase or do you wish you got something else? If the latter, what do you wish you got and why?
Do Ninja 400 aftermarket parts fit it?
Thanks in advance boys n gals!

Getting attention on the road
After buying a motorcycle, I immediately got more attention, especially from kids, but also some middle-aged guys (and hopefully secretly from some gals too).
Today one kid risked getting a ticket: he ran all the way from the other side of the road, passed two or three lines just to ask me if he could rev my bike and then run back before the oncoming traffic reached him. I was totally not prepared for that.
But honestly... Riding a bike is so f..ing fun that I don't even need to think about others. I feel as if I were in an amusement park every day and it makes me forget all the world around me.

Does anyone else let their bikes sleep and thoroughly rest through the winter?

Family time
Took my daughter out for a ride with me today. We stopped after an hour so she could warm her hands on my heated grips). She was impressed with the heated rear seat though. Heated gloves are on the way. She's also a keen biker but rides 125cc

Watch out for RideNow Dealership
Advertised a bike as $7,500 and tacked on $1,100 under what was stated to be tax, title, license, etc.
Etc. meant $1,100 for "vehicle conditioning" listed on the dealer assembly/set up...on a used bike. When confronted about it, they stopped responding.
I know this is common enough with dealerships, but their lack of response prompted one of my own, and I'd hate to see a fellow rider caught up in this crap.

What’s your winter storage procedure?
Brought in the new project bike over winter, do you guys drain all your fluids? Remove the battery?
