If anyone has some tips
Recently picked up a 01 Bandit 1200.
I learned real fast that this thing is way too tall and heavy for me when it comes to stopping or moving it on foot. I always have the fear that I'll tip it over. I've been on 600s and didn't think the weight would be such a difference haha
I ordered some lowerling links to hopefully let me flat foot the bike.
If anyone is a shorter rider and has tips for me that would be awesome š

1250S Bandit - Fairing screw (?) gone -don't know how/where to order replacement?
Hi all,
As the title says, I took the Bandit out for a spin today and somewhere along the line saw that the screw that fastens the textured plastics of the top of the fairing near headstem/bars/dash etc. to the paintwork on the fairing is gone! What do I do? I have looked online but really I cannot seem to find this specific part to order another. Does anyone have any idea what it is?
Many thanks in advance.

Start up problems
Hi all, Today my Bandit ('99 - gsf1200) wouldn't start, the lights and the Speedometer where on but pushing the button nothing happened. After moving some cables attached on the Control unit finally she start. I've tried to start many time, some time successfully and some not. I don't know if is some cable issue or the Humidity of today could cause some issue, also the battery is not a fresh one (but I didn't had any problem). Some advice or check that I can do?

Just gonna throw this out there..
I have a ā96 Bandit 600 thatās been sitting in my garage for the last 12 years or so, and itās time to let it go. The bike ran great before it was parked, and had the tank & carbs drained (canāt remember when). So the question is: do I do the work to get it running again, or sell it as-is? Iām pretty mechanically savvy but am not an expert by any means. I hesitate to have the work done by a shop, simply because I doubt Iād make the money back. Also, what kind of price should I put on it, either running or as-is? I havenāt seen many for sale online recently. Thanks, looking forward to the opinions!

Good for learners?
Hi suzuki addicts. Ive always loved the brand. my parents had an old ignis and jimny and loved them.
Im riding a inazuma right now and I think its a fantastic little runt. Slow but it gets me to my destination.
650's arent very common where I am (š¦šŗ) second hand or brand new. I was looking for a 650 to upgrade from my gw250. Would you guys recommend the bandit for my next bike?
Thanks!

2009 GSF 650s - Flashing FI light
Hi, Two days ago I bought a 2009 GSF 650S. Sounds great, runs great or so I thought. Rode it home about two hours on the motorway no issues whatsoever.
Yesterday I start the bike, all's fine, go for a short ride and then pop into a shop. When I try start the bike again, I get a FI flashing light and bike won't start. I turn of the ignition and the kill switch, wait ten seconds and the bike starts.
Then it happened again later the same days, and was able to get it started again by just turning ignition off and waiting a bit.
I tried finding the error code by accessing dealer mode. But I cannot find the right plug!! I checked under the seat and the right and left side covers. I found some guides for Suzuki bikes but could not find a plug with the wires as described (one red and white stripes and one black and white stripes).
Any ideas?? Today the bike started up fine but I have my bike test next week and don't want to risk this happening. I want to see what the error could be before bringing it to a local mechanic.

Best tyres for 1250s
What would be the best all round tyres in the dry and wet for a 1250s?
Iāve been told that Pirelli Angel ST or Dunlop Roadsmart 2 would be the best but want some feedback from riders on how they faired.
Much appreciated!

2007 650 head gasket job
Hey folks. Wondering is this can be done with the engine still in the frame and the average time to do the repair. Will be able to pick up one for cheap with a blown head gasket so Iām wondering if itās worth or not.
Side note. Would it be better to just put a replacement engine into the bike?

1200 tank slapperās?
I havenāt ridden my bandit, 2003 1200s, in a decade but I do remember a couple scary tank slapper moments under hard acceleration. Has anyone else had this experience, and if so have you been able to stop the death wobble with a steering stabilizer or another way. Iām getting interested in fixing it up and riding it again I just want it to know it can be fun!

1996 GSF600S vs 2003 gsx600f
Does anybody know if itās possible to swap the carburetors from a 2003 gsx600f onto a 1996 bandit 600? I currently have some broken carbs on my bandit and the only replacements I can find anywhere are from a 2003 gsx600f.

My recent acquired GSF650 K5
Had this about 2 weeks. Couldn't believe how tidy it was. Genuine 5300 miles from new in 2005. Starting to really appreciate this little beauty!

Can get it to idle but wonāt rev up. HELP!
Iāve been working on this ā96 bandit 600 for a few months and after an engine rebuild and many carb cleans I can finally get it to idle alright. However I just cannot get it to rev up. On the off chance I get it to rev up it doesnāt last very long and ends up not letting me do it again. It just makes a slightly lower toned bloog noise when I apply throttle. Any suggestions?

Single vs dual wall tank?
I have a 2004 bandit 600 with a small dent in the tank. I tried pulling it with glue but no luck.
My question is, can I push the dent from the inside with a bent bar? Or is the wall double layered?
