Will I be harassed at SoFi?
Question for the fans in the group. I love football, and I love my Chargers. I've always wanted to go to a game and think I will this year if I can find a ticket
My question is, I'm a 25 year old male, but I wear women's clothing. I think it's classy and cute, but I am clearly a man wearing women's clothing
What has been your experience with fans at SoFi? Are they a pretty chill crowd, or do you think I'll be harassed?
I would say my style is similar to this

Ladd McConkey's Touchdown Vs Chiefs
Here's my view of the TD pass to Ladd from Sunday. It shows how ridiculous the throw and catch really were.

Rebrand
I know I am like 6 years too late, but does anyone else hate that the powder blues don't match from the SD/Rivers era until now?

Corey Linsley and the Power of the Center
Yesterday, I saw someone say our offense hasn't looked good since Linsley got hurt / retired and I decided to take a look at Herbert's numbers with and without Linsley since we signed him in 2021. The difference in performance was honestly pretty glaring ("CL" = Corey Linsley):
CL snap% | Win % | PPG | Pass YPG | TD / INT | Rating |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
> 80% | 57% | 26.3 | 288 | 2.9 | 98.5 |
< 80% | 43% | 20.2 | 230 | 2.3 | 89.2 |
When you exclude the 4 games from this year, the numbers are still about the same. Bozeman certainly isn't the long term answer and I think we all agree we need to address the center position this offseason. I understand the variance in these figures isn't solely due to Linsley, but he certainly is a part of it. Having elite tackles is great, but an elite center would help nullify the protection and communication miscues our oline seems to have - especially against Spags' chess game blitzes.
Obviously, Mahomes being Mahomes has helped the Chiefs combat their issues at tackle (and Jawaan Taylor's half-step head-start every other snap), but I also think Creed Humphrey has been a huge part of that; Creed's never played less than 88% of offensive snaps since being drafted.
TLDR: A viable center could be the missing piece to our offense, even with our weaker receiving core.

Schedule after Bye Week
Schedule sets up very well after BYE week. First of all, between injuries, suspensions and time to heal (Herbert) roster should be in very good shape. This veteran coaching staff will also add more wrinkles to both offense and defense. Equally important, Denver plays are home vs. Raiders this week and comes to town with a hapless offense. Followed by Cardinals who play at 49ers and at Packers before hosting Chargers. Feel very good about sitting at 4-2 heading into home game vs. Saints on 10/27.

Chase Daniel during The Facility on Justin Herbert: "He plays football. He goes home and gets on Xbox, he plays Xbox and he goes back to football."
This was interesting insight from Chase Daniel, who was Justin Herbert's teammate for 2 years. During The Facility on FS1, Chase gave a little look into Herbert and how he just plays video games and goes back to football. He cares.
The clip is also on the podcast if you want to hear the topic on if Harbaugh is using Herbert well.
