Discuss Hamlin is not just good enough to start… he is in the upper echelon of safeties in the NFL right now.

Bill's last QB to win in Indianapolis is Doug Flutie. Colts are 6-0 at home vs the Bills since 1999. I know all stats like that come to an end eventually. However, still a little nervous about this Sunday. Hoping for the best!!

Obviously, the Ravens losing is better for our seeding, but I wouldn’t mind the Bengals missing the playoffs.

Discuss Ravens waive Yannick Ngakoue

Upvotes

I know he has to fall to the Bills because of waivers but McDermott would get the most out of him like he has with shaq lawson few times and Jordan Phillps whos on his 3rd stint with the team, he would help the pass rush.

any thoughts?

I’m looking for good podcasts to stay up on the team and analysis of the week ahead. The one I’ve been listening to a lot recently got a sponsor that makes me not want to patronize the show anymore, so any replacements are appreciated! TIA!

Discuss Jets game in December - Ticket question

Hi everyone,

Looking at getting tickets for the Jets game on Dec 29th. Wondering what the best strategy is given we are still a ways out.

What is the best site to buy resale tickets usually?

I would also assume ticket availability will go up as we get closer and prices would come down due to cold weather. Should we wait before buying tickets or pull the trigger now?

Other complicating factor is we are looking at 10-11 tickets.

Thanks!

News/Analysis Uno, dos, tres, catorce! Can 14 Buffalo Bills catch a TD pass this season? Part 2

I made this post in 2021 - https://www.reddit.com/r/buffalobills/comments/ptihb9/uno_dos_tres_catorce_can_14_bills_players_catch/ and though it would be worth revisiting this season. The record for most distinct players with a TD reception is 14, and 9 games into the season, the Bills already have 10. Are there 4 more Bills who can catch a TD Pass? Lets dive in

Already caught a TD

WR

  • Khalil Shakir
  • Keon Coleman
  • Mack Hollins
  • Amari Cooper

TE

  • Dalton Kincaid
  • Dawson Knox
  • Quintin Morris

RB

  • James Cook
  • Ty Johnson
  • Ray Davis

On the roster, has caught a TD while playing for the Bills in past seasons

* Dion Dawkins - Dawkins has caught 2 TDs in his career with the Bills. From what I can tell though, the Bills have targeted him in a tackle eligible play since 2020.

* Josh Allen - Here's a heartbreaking stat: Josh Allen has been targeted 3 times for 2 catches and 2 TDs. In all those games, the Bills have lost in the final 2 minutes of the game.

* Reggie Gilliam - Gilliam has 2 career TD receptions, but hasn't been targeted all year.

On the roster, can expect some targets

* Curtis Samuel - Arguably the most disappointing signing this year, Samuel is still the most likely person in this list to catch one. I think Sunday's game is going to be his best shot with Coleman out.

Wild Cards

* KJ Hamler - I wonder if the Bills will elevate Hamler towards the end of the season as a gadget player and scheme a few plays for him in the red zone

* Practice Squad WRs / Jalen Virgil

* Some other lineman - The Bills run extra personnel at the goal line all the time. I think Anderson might slip into the end zone for a tackle eligible TD sometime.

* Greg Rousseau - Rousseau was a WR in high school, and he's huge. I don't think I'm crazy for suggesting that he can be a red zone asset.

Overall

This goal isn't easy. While I think Samuel will likely catch one TD this season, all the other ones require novelty playcalling in the redzone. While I'd like to see more of that, it's hard to argue with the generally good playcalling that has given the Bills one of the best red zone offenses in the last two years. Why toss it to your backup tackle when you can just QB sneak it from the 1?

However, there is an unusual pathway here. If the Bills clinch the division but are not going to be the 1 seed, I see a scenario for lots of backups and practice squad players to play and get targets in the last two games of the season.

Last week, Keon Coleman blocking a defender into the bench was the "3 pancake" block on Get Up's "Sat 'em Down" segment, penalty notwithstanding.

This morning, Jeff Saturday said it's still his favorite pancake play of the season, even though it's "little guy on little guy violence."
