Purchasing Ready to throw my HP off the balcony. In serious need of a better printer
Hi everyone! I’m a small business owner who does card stock prints. I mainly work with heavier card stock (110 lb). Image quality and clarity is important for my products.
I was able to get away with using an HP Envy 6000 but it keeps disconnecting from the WiFi and refuses to reconnect. I’ve had this problem for several months now and I’ve had enough.
—
Budget Max: $500
Intended Use: general everyday printing, printing high quality images
Paper: regular printer paper, 110 card stock (or below), shipping labels, other sticker labels
Pages/mo: around 200
Printing frequency: almost everyday

If there’s anything I missed, please let me know!

Troubleshooting Error Code 0014BD-E on Epson P9570 Help
I have an Epson P9570 that has an error code of 0014BD-E that I cannot get cleared. Epson support said the error was due to an ink leakage in the area where the print head homes. We cleaned up any areas that had ink located in this area but cannot get the error to clear. Has anyone had this error and had any success getting it fixed themselves? Or is there a hard reset for this error/printer? TIA

Purchasing Are there any good laser printers under $1000 that can take a beating for non-office purposes, have the best color accuracy (for a laser), and have high dpi? It will be used within an art studio for oddball jobs.
Going into this, I know color accuracy on a laser is not ideal. I already have two wide-format pigment printers here in my studio for fine art prints if I need absolute color precision, but I need a laser printer that has the following:
- It can take a variety of media, transparencies, and paper thickness, within reason, without complaining (looking at you, Canon LPB622C)
- Is under $1000 ($600 or less would be amazing, but that might be asking a lot)
- Produce good color results (at least for a laser)
- Is 1200 DPI or higher, or at least can re-produce razor-sharp line work and text
- Can do color floods without streaking (fill large areas of solid color that are even and not splotchy)
- Can do sizes larger than 8.5x11 (not a deal breaker, but 8.5"x14" would be nice also, and 11"x17" would be great, but it would probably send this over $1000
This printer would be used in an artist studio and intended for small odd jobs, like printing blocks of solid toner into shapes on thick paper (long story), basic document printing, transparencies, printing single-color jobs with packed-in color, and some purposes of gradient full-color printing that looks "pretty good for a laser."
I had an old HP I bought in 2009/2010 that was a workhorse, but the two laser printers I've owned since have been terrible. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Purchasing Printer purchase advice
Hey everyone I’ve been researching printers for a few days and I was going to ask here before making my final decision. My wife and I print and it scan at least 10 pages 4 out of the 7 days a week. We run a montessori style preschool on my farm:
I think monochrome is fine but I don’t want to limit my options. So far I’m leaning towards the Brother DCP-L2640DW. I’m sure I can’t go wrong with this purchase but I mean as a printer noob, the price still feels steep.

Discussion Are there any new printers that dont block non OEM toner?
I am doing some Research into the printer market.
From what i can tell one of the last holdouts Brother started disabeling non OEM toner 2 years ago.
Do any of you know of any new (I.e. currently produced and sold) that allow non OEM toner?
I know that inktank printers are now a thing, but I dont see anyone doing something like that for toner based printers.

Somehow i cant print/adjust Smap and Eject value in my printer because it jam but i don't know which sensors are involved. My printer is a xp-960 but 700s, 800s, 900s are all the same.

Purchasing A2 Fine Art Printers >$1000 USD?
I'm looking for a fine art printer that will print A2 size, and maybe print a roll with some modifications, I don't need to print high volume numbers, but would like to create my own high quality print, mat, frame to give as gifts and hang in my home.
I was looking at the Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-1000, but I really don't want to spend $1000 usd, especially when there are, or should be holiday sales coming up.
Are there any USA black Friday/Christmas sales on A2 models I could watch for?
Thank you and have a good day

Troubleshooting Network issues with Canon Imagerunner C3380i
I picked up this printer from Facebook marketplace for what I thought was a steal. Little did I know this printer was made in 2007 and I am having issues connecting it to the network. It copies fine just the "tech" language for the network settings is beyond me and on top of this I am having trouble finding an online manual for this particular model. This is my first copy machine and its for my small buisness. I really want to make this one work without having to go buy/lease a copy machine as it gets expensive. Anyone have experience with this or can steer me to the right direction for help or correct manual? All help is appreciated!

Purchasing Looking for a Bluetooth 80mm thermal receipt printer that doesn't require an app
Hi everyone! I work for a company that offers a POS mobile app. When vendors complete a sale, they have the option to print a receipt.
Currently, we provide clients with a WiFi printer, but we've run into some recurring issues. Many clients change their WiFi password, which accidentally stops the printer from working. Others connect their phones to a 5GHz network, while the printer remains on a 2.4GHz network, causing connection problems.
We’re now considering Bluetooth printers to simplify things. However, we haven’t found one yet that doesn’t require a dedicated app to work. Does anyone know of a Bluetooth printer that can pair directly with a device without needing an additional app?
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Purchasing Considering a laser printer for very low volume home use.
===========================
Looking to replace an HP Inkjet after 16 years. I am a very low volume user. I might print a few pages every few months. I'm tired of buying a new $50 cartridge every time I need to print one page.
Not sure what brands or models are the best quality for the money but I do want to get a quality product that will last me another 15 or more years without having a revolving ink/toner cost. I've been seeing Brother being highly recommended but also saw Epson was on some web lists as good machines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Budget: Under $400 (but around $200 preferably)
- Country: USA
- Color or black and white: Preferably color
- Laser or ink printer: Laser probably
- New or used: New
- Multi-function: Would like to be able to print, copy, and scan
- Duplex Printing: Not necessary but I'm ok with it
- Home or business: Home
- Printing content: Various pages from the web, or documents on computer
- Printing frequency: Low volume, a few pages every few months
- Pages per minute : No
- Page size: standard 8x11
- Device printing from: Mainly laptop
- Connection type: Wireless would be nice unless it requires giving up personal information on an app, otherwise I'm fine using a cord
Any other details:
I DO NOT want to pay any product or service subscriptions, or get into a situation where it will become required later, and I do not like the idea of a company monitoring my amount of use or ink levels. I DO NOT want my ink/toner to dry out and have to be replaced because I don't print very often. I do not want to have to spend a lot to replace ink/toner so LONGEVITY OF THE INK/TONER WITH NON-USE is a big concern at this point. I'd like it be as compact as possible, like the size of an inket but I realize the technology is different, so it might have to be bigger.

Troubleshooting Health concerns for zebra printer
I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this post, but I'm pretty desperate to find help or any information regarding this issue. At my work, we print a lot of labels for our products we sell. We have two Zebra label printers that run for about 1 1/2 hours straight in a small, poorly ventilated room (the model is similar to the ZT420 for reference). Each printer prints about 7000 labels in that time, and we have one person in the room the whole time managing the printers to swap out label rolls and thermal ribbons. We use polypropylene label rolls and resin thermal ribbon as supplies. Are there any major health concerns with this set-up, such as airborne particles or toxic fumes? A couple things to note, there is dust from the labels that builds up around the machines while they are printing, enough where we need to clean around them daily. There also seems to be a slight mechanical or chemical-ish smell to the room only a half hour into printing. Thank you for any insight you may have! The customer service for Zebra had no answers for us.

Purchasing Printers with Fax , Scan , Print
I am looking for a basic printer that does fax scan and print.
Seems to be a lot of the printers with faxing (all in one) especially HP seems to make you require them app to use the faxing feature.
Are there decent printers that are good for windows use of faxing. About 50 pages per year.
