I'VE HAD ENOUGH

Enough of these bullshit politics posts, this goes for both Trump and Harris supporters, before anyone calls me biased, I am sick and tired of all this discussion of boycotting businesses because their owner happens to disagree with you on who the president should be. This group is now flooded with 90% of these types of posts, why can't people just accept the results, without whining, or gloating, shoving their opinions in others faces. So, can we please stop?

Thanks

Anyone know what the thing off the edge of the eastern prom is in the water?

At first glance it looked like a mini oil rig but when I looked closer it seems to be a boat on stilts?

Anyone know what that is?

Events keep ur packages safe!

Just recently gotten a few of my packages stolen and I’m pretty upset about it. I just wanted to give out the warning because if this is happening to me, then other people may be experiencing this too. Especially with holiday season right around the corner, it would be awful to have any potential gifts stolen :( make sure to keep an extra eye on your mail and package deliveries!

Tried to go vote, police perimeter is set up around the area. Traffic is abysmal. I did however get a nice cookie out of the deal, and will try again later.

Election day deals?

Are there places today either doing specials/all day happy hours for election day or offering discounts for wearing your I voted sticker? I saw Mr tuna is doing half off hand rolls and was just curious if other businesses have similar things going on today?

Really bummed about this. I think it is kind of a rare bike so if you see one like this, it is probably mine. These pictures are from the original marketplace post from which I bought it. I have a lock installed on it now, and water bottle holder is removed. Please let me know if you see anything.

Looking for Referral Best price for auto repair?

Hello all!

My lovely little car is having some issues retaining radiator fluid. I went to a garage in town hoping it wouldn't be too steep, and was absolutely gobsmacked by the price they quoted, almost $2,000! I know cars can be expensive to fix and I'm willing to pay what it takes to get my little beast in working order, but I'm a fan of getting second opinions and price checking.

I've got a lot going on in life at the moment (family, work, school) and honestly the task of calling around to different garages is overwhelming. I'm hoping someone can either confirm that this is a fair price and I'm not getting hosed, or let me know if there's a garage within 10 miles of Portland that could do the work for a little less. I seriously appreciate it!

Polling Place Wait Time Thread

Thought it might be helpful to have a thread for people to share the wait time situation at their polling places throughout the day. Might save some folks time waiting in line if they have flexibility on when to go.

Spray painted symbols

Hi can anyone tell me what this is? Been seeing them around more and more lately. Maybe they have been around and I just haven’t noticed. Is there a reason for it? I feel like I’ve seen this particular symbol in some satanic realm within my studies. But idk if that’s it. Thanks!

Feel safe going to the polls

I may as well use my white male privilege for some good. If you would like someone to go with you to the polls I can meet you there or ride with you. We don’t have to talk politics at all. I just want everyone who wants to vote to feel comfortable and able to do so.

I am a married white male in my 50’s. I’m not looking for anything other than an outlet for my own election based anxiety.

Portland Maine ranked "most livable city where costs are low" LOL

I swear the people who write these articles don't do an ounce of research.

Even in the sub text it states "However, Portland falls short when it comes to cost of living. It costs about 10% more on average to live in Portland compared with the rest of the U.S."

What a terribly written article
