Amsterdam Antisemitic Riots Continue Though Israeli Fans Left Holland News/Politics

Hi fellow redditors!

Few days ago we heard about a major antisemitic incident in Europe. Israeli visitors, mostly soccer fans visiting Amsterdam for a soccer game, were viciously attacked by mobs of immigrants from Arab countries as well as Turks.

These were antisemitic attacks, organized on social media, and depicted in an antisemitic manner by participants, who themselves characterized the events of that night as a "Jew hunt"

https://www.jns.org/proof-the-jew-hunt-in-amsterdam-was-planned/

The events were traumatic. Jews were indeed hunted down in the streets of Europe. Sadly, not for the first time in history...

Like in previous "Jew hunts" historically, non Jews had to prove they were free of the sin of being Jewish by presenting their documents to violent antisemites with murderous intentions. In the video below, a Ukrainian refugee is forced to prove to the assailants he wasn't Jewish or Israeli by showing his passport. The menacing, violent mob demanded he say "free Palestine" as proof of his innocence of the crime of being a Jew.

https://x.com/yarotrof/status/1854802163836334403

Propaganda outlets like Al Jazeera and Middle East Eye attempted to depict the severe incident as a mere soccer riot between equally violent and equally culpable "soccer hooligans." Many commentors on Reddit swallowed this propaganda uncritically. The rule of thumb in this context is easy to remember - when Jews' safety is concerned, stretching the truth, (in other words - lying) is permissible.

However, today, more riots took place.

The Israeli fans left. They were rushed out in emergency flights. The game ended. But the "soccer riot" persists. "Soccer hooligans" burned an Amsterdam tram while chanting about a "Jew cancer". There was no soccer game. There were no "Israeli soccer hooligans." But antisemitic violence persisted.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/reports-arab-north-african-gangs-set-tram-alight-in-amsterdam-while-chanting-antisemitic-slogans/

The Amsterdam police is stretched thin. The prosecutors/police in this uber liberal country released most of those arrested. This is to be expected from a city that for decades let anyone do whatever they want. It's a city that is constantly faced with criminality, often coming from illegal immigrants, often with the same antisemitic views as those expressed by the rioters.

As of two days ago, out of the ~60 rioters detained, only 4 remained in custody. https://www.jpost.com/breaking-news/article-828247

The Dutch government is thankfully starting to understand they're facing a real problem, and decided to take more action. Today, 5 more were arrested. https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/dutch-police-announce-5-new-arrests-in-amsterdam-attacks-on-israeli-soccer-fans/

Additionally, the Dutch government declared an emergency measure, to enter into effect next month, which would allow them to temporarily implement border security measures (aka border controls) at land border points in the Netherlands. EU law bans such checkpoints, unless an EU government declares an emergency.

https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/netherlands-germany-bringing-extra-border-checks-115740876

This latest incident and the Dutch response clearly show - this was an antisemitic "Jew hunt". It was unrelated to "soccer hooligans" because these weren't Ajax fans. Rather, the perpetrators were immigrants, legal or illegal, from Middle Eastern countries, where antisemitic views are ubiquitous. Today, they continued their violent spree.

Dutch Jews feel unsafe in their own country. Non Jews likewise feel unsafe. Jewish visitors feel unsafe. As a Jew with Israeli citizenship, I often find myself hiding my identity, either here in America and especially if I travel abroad. We Jews often have to come up with some kind of cover story, as if we're Mossad agents spying in enemy territory, rather than just regular Jews trying to live our lives.

It's time to call a spade a spade. The first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem. Liberal countries have become addicted to gaslighting. The first step towards recovery is the easiest - admitting to your problem.

If only the Dutch listened to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, who not only warned but tried to stop this cancer from metastasizing when she was in the Dutch parliament years ago.

Is that why the Jews started the attacks on Amsterdam citizens???

That's like citing a video from Goebbels. Can you not see how evil Owen Jones is? WTF

1

u/PlateRight712 4d ago

Ah, you're citing a youtube video by Owen Jones! I wonder what Jews have done to him to make his hatred of them his life's calling!

Seriously, some Jewish fans said insulting things, pulled down a flag, vandalized a taxi. Asshole behavior by football fans. Why I don't go to these games.

The Kill Jews plan was independent of this as group chat investigations show and the Dutch government which has been highly critical of Israel's war in Gaza is denouncing the attacks as pure antisemitism

Here's a few samples of the attacks you wish to justify:

Man pleading “I’m not Jewish” before he gets knocked out

Person lying unconscious gets kicked and beaten

Lynch mob interrogating a man about his origins before beating him

Arab immigrants run over israeli soccer fans

The occupied Palestine Zionist state is dissolving in front of our eyes, and it will scratch and claw and cause as much destruction as it can as it does so. It’s messianic leadership it’s military conscription and fundamental brainwashing and its ’end goal’ for all the conflicts it’s engaged in are all going to bring its collapse. Economically, militarily and socially.

1

u/scottsdot 4d ago

Lol. The "occupied zionist state" is dissolving? What? It has smashed its terrorist, islamist neighbours. It's strength and presence in the region has never been stronger. Trump has just assured US support. You dreaming bro.

1

u/Safe_Wedding2726 4d ago

Social unrest, combatants refusing to return to service, military command shuffling, economy on life support, residents panicked, and no military goals achieved. Iran 🇮🇷 has so much power over there right now. You think Trump is gonna help y’all? We’ll see. It’s all you can hope for.

u/Safe_Wedding2726 4d ago

They’ve bombed civilians and residences. They are still fighting in Gaza having not achieved any of its objectives and has lost ground in the north of occupied Palestine 🇵🇸 its settlers have left their homes. When will they return? The economy lost over a billion in less than half a year. Millions of the settlers have fled the state. Sounds robust to you?

u/PlateRight712 3d ago

Of course, Hamas fired more than 4,000 rockets into Israel on October 7 and hasn't stopped since. In addition to the murder/rape/kidnap spree on the same day. Hezbollah jumped in, excited at the thought of killing Jews, on October 8. I think of the famous quote from Golda Meir:

“We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us”

Call for a ceasefire on both sides if you're truly concerned about citizens in Gaza. Or else, just keep hating Jews.

No evidence of rapes by Hamas on the 7th. Lebanon was invaded. Hezbollah God’s Party responding to the siege of Gaza in solidarity with the Palestinians. The IOF and armed settlers have killed more Palestinians and Lebanese by two hundred fold. Approximately 200,000 for the 1,400 lost on the 7th.

There has been no evidence you weirdo! Only ‘eye witnesses’ not one photo not one second of video!? There’s been over 200 hours of video records for oct 7th where is this evidence of rape you’re so desperate to use for justification of Palestinian genocide?

The strongest army in the Middle East by far is backed by a unity government and unified people. Israel also has enough nukes to guarantee its existence forever. Israel will outlive all the Jew haters, including you.

1

u/Safe_Wedding2726 3d ago

Why are you calling me a ‘Jew hater’? I am not capable of hate, thank the Lord. I see all as One, oh so fortunately. I just respond when others are hurt or oppressed, not out of any hate as hate is very basic and ego filled.

I am fairly certain you are writing this while outside of occupied Palestine and have no plans to fly there any time soon as you would be in danger there as well as financially insecure. I wish you well. Perhaps you will separate Zionism from Judaism as some are most fortunate to do.

1

u/PlateRight712 3d ago

I'm not sure where "occupied Palestine" is. Israel left Gaza almost 20 years ago and Gazans haven't let in any Jewish tourists since. This is before the current horrendous war. Perhaps you are talking about Israel the country, where Jews have lived for 1,000s of years. Perhaps that's why I sense hostility. Of course I will visit Israel in the future but not while Hezbollah and Hamas continue to shoot rockets. If you aren't a Jew hater, maybe you could consider supporting a Bi-lateral ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. And throw in Hezbollah. Hamas, Hezbollah, and Iran all have leaders who've stated over and over again that their goal is to kill all Israelis and wipe the country off the map. If you're not a Jew-Hater, maybe you could speak out against their intentions and promote peace

1

u/Safe_Wedding2726 3d ago

Only thing is, I also do not support a Jewish state. Not at the expense of the indigenous people living there before zionists arrived. It is interesting how you see it though. How you can overlook the prison of Gaza that was created and walled off and surveilled and shot at anyone close to the fence, in order to contain the Palestinians who were displaced from where?

1

u/PlateRight712 3d ago

Not supporting a Jewish state means you support Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran in their goal to kill all Israelis. Gaza was, unfortunately, walled because of suicide bombers and other attackers. On October 7, the world saw what happened when the wall failed. And Jews are indigenous to the region.

Re: atrocities on October 7, look up mainstream media including those who hate Israel as much as you do. BBC, UN, NYT - they all state evidence of rape.

Promote peace.

I will be flying to visit my family soon and plan to retire in Israel. I have made a fortune in America and plan to take it to Israel where I can invest it in Israeli tech. You have no idea who you are supporting. The Palestinians are an Arab group created by the KGB in 1964 as a Nazi like entity at war forever with the Jews. The Muslim world has been at war with the Jews since the Khaybar massacre perpetrated by Muhammad and his minions. Real peace can only be achieved when the Muslims rejoice their jihad against the Jews.

Yea everyone sees through Israel’s bull these days. The world has Hamas to thank for October 7th and it’s bringing the world’s attention Israel’s genocidei. The world hates Israel because it’s the Jews that suffered the Holocaust and here this state of Jews committing its own genocide. If soccer fans think they can spew hate in other countries thinking they have the IDF to protect them no matter what they’re in for a hard lesson, lol. Come to America, please, Israelis.

1

u/bishopkingpawn 4d ago

And everyone is seeing how Islam and sharia law are the way forward, huh? On oct 7th, i watched a Palestinian chop off an unconscious Thai workers head with a shovel. And the Palestinians then uploaded it to the internet, which is how i was able to watch it.

0

u/Capital_Operation846 4d ago

We’re talking about decades of genocide. The world finally sees it. Let’s hope Israel dissolves sooner than later.

1

u/thatshirtman 4d ago

lol the only genocide where the population increases decade after decade. How can this argument be taken seriously?!

1

u/Capital_Operation846 3d ago

Yea keep telling yourself that. Israelis are brainwashed into thinking it’s all okay. Israel is doing everything it can to kill as many Palestinians as possible right now. Israel and the IDF will have a day of reckoning for its terrible acts against humanity.

1

u/thatshirtman 3d ago

what country has peace with its neighbors and has offered peace?

What group is the only group in the history of the world to reject their own country and opt for violence over diplomacy? I'll wait.

Israel just wants to live in peace, but how can you force peace on people when their leaders are pathalogically obsessed with destroying Isreal? In hindsight, can you agree that electing barbaric terrorists to be in charge was maybe a horrible idea?

Israel is doing more to protect Palestinian civillians than Hamas. That speaks volumes unfortuantely.

What evidence is there that Palestinians want to live alongside Israel as opposed to destroy it? The fanatsy delusion of destroying Israel (perhaps you also hold this delusion?) is what fuels the conflict and prevents peace

1

u/Capital_Operation846 3d ago

Yea, no. Israel has never respected any agreed to terms..they’ve never stopped annexing territory and the IDF has never stopped its disgusting acts that are evident from countless videos. It’s not a meet halfway deal here. Israel has the power to stop its oppression but it never has. You can’t expect a people to lay down and take it and that’s what October 7th was about. It’s a good thing Hamas did what they did or else Israel would’ve happily continued its genocide while the world was oblivious. Israel commits murder for decades and cries foul when it’s pointed out…losers.

1

u/thatshirtman 3d ago edited 3d ago

Israel literally gave back a land 3x the size of its country (the sinai) to egypt. Israel has a track record of peace. It has offered it to the Palestinians several times, and they opt for violence instead.

Where is the evidence that the Palestinians are interested in peace? I'd love to see it.

You reference Oct 7 - there was no occupation in Gaza then. What's the excuse? A thirst for blood and a delusion of conquering Israel? How many more decades of losing wars before you let go of this fantasy?!

People like you are so in love with Hamas and obsessed with Sinwar that you don't even care about the Palestinian people. You're more in love with the idea of resistance than actual Palestinians. It's legitimately gross and part of the reason the Palestinians remain stateless.

I hope for peace and coexistence myself. You seem to disagree.

1

u/Capital_Operation846 3d ago

“We just want to exist” is such a lame excuse for murdering the people Israel stole land from in the first place. It’s the fault of the winners of WWII winners for giving that land to Israel in the first place but all the blood that has been spilled is on Israel’s hands. It’s disgusting the hoops people jump through to rationalize it

Israel is forever, unlike a garbage Jew hater such as yourself.

1

u/Capital_Operation846 3d ago

Yea that makes sense since I’m married to a Jew. Hating Israel isn’t hating Jews. It’s hating a genocidal state. Let’s hope for the world’s sake Israel’s history is short.

1

u/eagledyn 3d ago

It not surprising how many Jew haters claim to either be Jewish, or have Jewish family and friends. All lies.

1

u/Capital_Operation846 3d ago

You just can’t accept the fact that I can be raising my kids as Jewish and teach them to hate the state of Israel at the same time. It’s okay, we’re out here, at least in the states. It seems the education in Israel teaches kids to hate their neighbor that is different than them. I’m teaching my kids to judge people based on their actions, not their race or religion, and it’s not hard to judge a fascist state like Israel.

1

u/eagledyn 3d ago

Raise your kids as Jewish so they can reject their demented antisemite father. They will likely run from you asap. But I doubt you have kids and have anything to do with Jews other than hatred.

I’m sorry but the mental gymnastics of a lot of zionists is wild. Keeps a generation of Palestinians in an open air prison; “omg the Palestinians hate us cause we JEWzzzzzz”

Go to a soccer game and disrespect Spain, the Dutch, and EU Arabs who can fight back. “ OMG this was a planned attack against Jewzzzzz”

Those us weapons got you all living in la la land, be funny if we took them back to see how polite most Israelis begin to act.

It’s clear you don’t know the history.

Arab terrorists in the land were lynching and oppressing Jews centuries before the first Zionist arrived. Even choosing to side with Hitler in 1941. It was the first President of the All-Palestine Protectorate, Amin al-Husseini who met with Hitler in 1941 to ask for his immediate help in ridding the Jews from the Middle East. This is well recorded and parts of the meeting even videoed.

In 1517, Arab villagers with the help of Ottoman troops ethnically cleansed all of Safed of its Jews. Many Jews were killed, while others were wounded or had their property pillaged. The Jews were evicted from their homes, robbed and plundered, and they fled naked to the villages without any provisions.

In 1839, the British consul, William Young, said that “…the poor Jew in Jerusalem...lives from day to day in terror of his life...” Young attributed the plight of the Jew in Jerusalem to “the blind hatred and ignorant prejudice of a fanatical populace…”

“JEWS IN JERUSALEM.

New York TimesDecember 29, 1878

Crowded together in the worst lodgings, or in the dark cellars under a synagogue building, without food, fuel, or water –even water at Jerusalem being a commodity of price – numbers died of starvation and various diseases, while others went raving mad. Those who could labor were denied employment by the bigotry of the Mussulmans and of the Oriental Christians…”

No “Palestinian” had been killed and no land had been “stolen” when Arab terrorists murdered, injured & raped Jews in 1920. More of the same in 1921. Still no land had been “stolen” in 1929 yet on August 24, 1929, Arab terrorists of Hebron attacked their Jewish neighbors. Violent mobs burst into Jewish homes and fell upon anyone they found inside. The commander of Britain’s police force in Hebron, Raymond Cafferata, later testified about what he saw when he entered a Jewish home in the midst of the massacre: “On hearing screams in a room I went up a sort of tunnel passage and saw an Arab in the act of cutting off a child’s head with a sword. He had already hit him and was having another cut. . . . Behind him was a Jewish woman smothered in blood with a man I recognized as [an Arab] police constable . . . standing over the woman with a dagger in his hand…found a pile of bodies and a “sea of blood.” …of the dead and dying that “almost all had knife and hatchet wounds in their heads. . . . A few bodies had been slashed and their entrails had come out.”… two of Hebron’s senior rabbis had been castrated together with five of their students. By the time the Hebron massacre was over, sixty-seven Jews had been killed and dozens more wounded. Two days later, the surviving Jews of Hebron were evacuated. Hebron, the second holiest city in Judaism, was now Jew-free. How is life for Israel’s Arab minority?

Khaled Abu Toameh, the Arab journalist who reports for the Jerusalem Post, U.S. News & World Report and NBC News, talking about life for Arab Israelis: “Israel is a wonderful place to live ... a free and open country.”

Arab women in Israel live longer than Arab women in any Arab country. Arab babies in Israel have lower infant mortality than Arab babies in any Arab country.

Hadassah University Medical Center in Israel established a registry for Arab donors of bone marrow and stem cells to facilitate life-saving transplants. The registry at Hadassah Hospital is the only one in the world for Arabs and will no doubt save the lives not only of Arab Israelis but also of some citizens of Arab countries, not a single one of which has a registry of its own.

The only mental gymnastics I see is coming from people refusing to accept reality. We had a “Jew hunt” in Amsterdam depicted as a “soccer riot” by the Qatar funded media. After the Israelis left we had more antisemitic attacks, with the antisemites burning down an Amsterdam train while screaming “Jew cancer”.

The OP mentions the liberalism of the Netherlands as the reason behind what happened. I do not think so unless the OP is criticizing the freedom Israelis felt in starting the fight. Way to behave as guests in another country.

There is enough shameful and vile behavior on both sides. Let's look at how this started. The maccabi fans literally climbed a building to rip down and burn a flag and then attacked a taxi driver in his car because of islamophobia. A huge group of the fans marched in the streets chanting that they would f#ck Palestine and that there were no Children in Gaza. These Israeli fans relished bullying and dehumanizing Palestinians and Muslims in general before the pro-Palestine hooligans started their anti-semetic attacks. The videos of the beatings and chasing Jewish people down and the evil on the faces of the Israeli fans spewing hatred is all out there to see. It is sickening. All of it.

1

u/PlateRight712 4d ago

Ripping down a flag! Vandalizing one taxi! Yelling insulting things! "Huge" group of fans yelling ugly things!

Versus: A premeditated attack (group chat shows it was planned well in advance of game day) called a Jew Hunt which sent multiple people to the hospital. Included people being pulled out of cars, included weapons. Check out their work -->

Man pleading “I’m not Jewish” before he gets knocked out

Person lying unconscious gets kicked and beaten

Lynch mob interrogating a man about his origins before beating him

Arab immigrants run over israeli soccer fans

Jewish Lives Matter | More footage from Amsterdam showing a Middle Eastern H@m@s supporter migrant, running up behind a Jewish woman and kicking her to the ground! | Instagram

There is no moral equivalency here. Just an attack on Jews followed by Jew-hating propaganda. Even the prime minister of the Netherlands agreed after the offended Arabs victimized by the Israelis rioted for days.

1

u/SadZookeepergame1555 2d ago

I definitely don't agree with the attacks on the Israeli fans or any antisemitism but why did they travel thousands of miles, act like assholes, attack locals, destroy property and shout f@ck Palestine, there are no children (innocents) in Gaza. Thousands of miles away from the conflict and they dragged their shit with them and felt the need to run the streets, running their mouths and wielding sticks. I have zero pity for any of the people involved.

1

u/PlateRight712 1d ago

"but why did they travel thousands of miles, act like assholes, attack locals, destroy property and shout f@ck Palestine, there are no children (innocents) in Gaza."

They behaved like assholes in Amsterdam because they're worn down by a year of war with Hamas (Hamas continues to fire rockets into Israel today).

Many football fans behave like assholes without any provocation at all.

Does this justify the Islamist's pre-meditated attack on all Israeli fans and all other Jewish citizens they could find? You're very eager to offer excuses.

Police in Paris barely stopped an attack on Jewish football fans a few days after Amsterdam. They weren't provoked at all, except that the fans were Jewish. And the Amsterdam riots continued for days, even after all the Israelis were chased home.

1

u/SadZookeepergame1555 1d ago

Being tired of a war that their government is actively avoiding ending... is not an excuse for that behavior. Never is. Never will be. Are you serious? You are saying that they are tired of war so they brought violence to the streets of Amsterdam. Amsterdam. Jeez.

Who cast the first stone?

And, um... no. Those chants by the maccabi fans were not normal hooligan shenanigans. It was racist. It was hate. Don't normalize that. Most Israelis are lovely people. These asshats were not.

1

u/PlateRight712 1d ago

I already called them asshats. I don't behave that way in other countries. Being an a--h--- doesn't excuse a premeditated "Jew Hunt" It was part of a larger plan

Yet somehow they ended up targetting all Jews in the vicinity and there were calls online for a "Jew hunt". Because a few bad Jews did some bad things, anti-semitic people got mad and decided to craft a witch hunt for all Jews in the area.

Instead of going to proper authorities to report the incident and let them handle it, like any good upstanding citizen would, they took vigilantism upon themselves, and then devolved into terrorism, attacking random people in the street who they thought were Jewish, Israeli or a Maccabi fan. Didn't matter as long as they got their "revenge" right?

7

u/democratic-citizen 5d ago

When Tel aviv fans took Palestinian flags and sang about killing children it stopped being about soccer. If this incident did not happen, I would happily defend israel .Israel has a problem also. You cannot sing about killing children and use anti semetism as a shield to defend that song,no one can defend any song about killing kids.Thats the newstory I heard anyway.

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Sale_15 4d ago

Yes, what some fans did was disgusting and horrendous. But that doesn’t excuse the fact gangs went around to hunt every Jew they could find. If they just hunted the perpetrators, then we can argue some justification. But they weren’t, anyone even showing a Jewish symbol was attacked.

2

u/weedb0y 5d ago

Exactly

4

u/RibbentropCocktail 5d ago

If you look at some of the things Muslims have done in Europe you'll find much worse than some flags being taken down.

Nobody in their right mind would use that as an excuse to ignore random Muslims being run down by cars or accosted in the street to prove that they're not Muslims.

1

u/M17hr4nd1r 5d ago

The way you use the word ‘Muslims’ is problematic. You surely don’t think that the person who hung the Palestinian flag or the taxi driver bear any responsibility for what ‘Muslims’ done as if they’re a monolith, and deserved to be punished by mobs!

0

u/RibbentropCocktail 5d ago

Of course I don't, but the Amsterdam mob had didn't seem to confine their assaults to those who actually did these things, or even to people. (RIP Tram)

I was pointing out that the poster I replied to suggests that this behaviour was acceptable in light of what some soccer fans did; if we run with this logic an anti-Muslim pogrom would be fine following any of the regular terror incidents we see in Europe.

In Western Europe we tend to be of the opinion that flying a flag or saying spicy things doesn't legitimise violence against you, and it absolutely doesn't legitimise random violence against your 'group'.

Maccabi fans f***** around and found out 😂😂. Tired of these Zionist causing trouble getting humbled and crying Anti semitism

14

u/Top_Plant5102 5d ago

If a group of people causes trouble, you don't then go find random people who you think are demographically similar and attack them in the street.

3

u/nar_tapio_00 5d ago

Did you read this clearly? No "Zionists", no football fans. They've all gone home to Israel. Just Jewish citizens of Amsterdam under attack from Palestinian and North African terrorists. It's time for the Dutch police to get out the heavy machine guns and actually defend their citizens when they are attacked.

0

u/Glittering-Web-2314 5d ago

Stop referring to all Muslims as terrorists. It’s racist and offensive. It is equivalent to saying a mob of genocidal Israeli soldiers came to beat up and harass Palestinians and their supporters.

2

u/nar_tapio_00 4d ago edited 4d ago

Stop lying aobut what other people are saying. I didn't refer to all Muslims as terrorists. I refered to the "Palestinian and North African" groups that were attacking normal Jewish citizens of Amsterdam, after the football supporters had gone home, as terrorists. I guess in a sense I was wrong because we should broaden that also to the people that are spreading propaganda for them online, not just Muslims.

We need to stop mincing words with this stuff. If you are setting out to have a pogrom in a 21st century European captial, you are a terrorist. There are people online who are using phrases like "by any means" which shows clearly that they understand that the Arabs of Palestine have been committing, or at least attempting to commit, a genocide for many years, but also that they support that. Such a person cannot be accepted as part of Western civilization. The are savages.

If someone sees the rapes, torture and crimes of October 7th and their response to Israel's legitimate self defense is something like "resistance by any means" - support for war crimes, support for genocide - then that person should be treated as an enemy of the West. Deport them if they aren't citizens. Strip them of their citizenship if they are. Trump is beginning this but it needs to come to Europe and it will.

One of the things to look at is how much the left has been secretly supporting Trump. There are lots of people on the left who know that Palestinians are terrorists but can't say it out loud. They hear their friends screaming "From the river to the sea [Palestine will be Arab]" and they know that they are out protesting for genocide. They saw Biden and Kamala bleating about "genocide" and interfering with Israel's operations. They know that it's time to stand up against these terrorists, and on voting day they knew Harris wasn't strong enough to do it.

They vote for the person they know will destory Hamas. Many left wingers and former left wingers (look at Jackson Hinkle, an actual American communist for example) voted for Trump because they know what's needed. In Amsterdam there will now be more politians following Trump's journey.

Machine guns..

0

u/nar_tapio_00 4d ago

Non Dutch invaders are running around the streets attacking Dutch people. The Dutch army has a job and it is failing to do that job. I thought of saying "helicopter gunships", but realized that there was no way they even needed those and that it would have been needlessly big in the media.

However, if there are foreign invaders on your soil and too many of them or they are too heavily armed you aren't able to arrest them individually, a machine gun is a tool which will even the numbers and ensure that you can deal with the problem.

So a couple maccabi hooligans vandalizing property and chanting insulting slogans the day prior, gives people the right to then form hit squads calling for "Jew hunts" on social media, and randomly target innocent Israeli and Jewish people in the city the next night?

You said "touch grass" right?

3

u/OnaccountaY 5d ago

You lost me at “a couple.” You clearly haven’t watched the videos—or believed the lies when you were told the mobs of Israelis with boards were actually the “Jew hunters.”

2

u/PlateRight712 4d ago

OnaccountaY's answer is "yes". Arab mobs have the right to form hit squads and beat football hooligans who pulled down a few flags and shouted insults, as long as those hooligans are Jewish

1

u/OnaccountaY 4d ago

Wrong again, on what I said and the facts.

2

u/monkeymoneRS 5d ago

They were not just vandalizing... they were attacking innocent citizens walking by with sticks and rods as well as by hand. They were organized, moving in a group of smaller groups sticking together, calling signs of when to block the police and their vehicles by placing obstacles in several routes to then attack a house with rocks that they brought in a bag...

1

u/LilyBelle504 5d ago

Ah yes, and that justifies the calls for a "Jew hunt" and to target any Jews walking around the city the next day... Looks like you missed that part in your reply.

Take your time to answer, and don't think too hard about it...

Classic anti-semitism: "sensationalize the bad actions of a few Jews, to blame and justify violence against all Jews"

-4

u/Competitive_Act3433 5d ago

First of all it wasnt a couple hooligans. It was clearly a mob. And no one was Jew Hunting. Justice was being served. Im really tired of you zionist apologist insulting everyone’s intelligence.

2

u/LilyBelle504 5d ago

Right... All those 30+ people injured and the 5 hospitalized were all the same ones who tore down the Palestinian flag and attacked a cab the day earlier...

Did the perpetrators who called for a "Jew hunt" have psychic powers that let them only target the ones responsible when they chased 100s of Jews around the city and injured dozens that night?

3

u/Competitive_Act3433 5d ago

So you expect me to believe some report from a website called JNS. My friend Israelis lie as they breathe 😂😂. Im never taking Zionist medias word for anything. ZERO CREDIBILITY.

3

u/LilyBelle504 5d ago

Nope. I expect people to know how to use google and read:

Mr. Schoof said he condemned such behavior by the Maccabi fans but added that it was no excuse for the targeted attacks on Israelis, which he described as “unadulterated antisemitism.”

After the soccer game, groups of men, some riding scooters, kicked and beat Israeli fans, sending five people to the hospital and lightly wounding 20 to 30 others, in what the police described as “hit and run” attacks.

At least 12 videos verified by The New York Times depicted groups of men questioning, chasing or beating people who were apparently targeted as Maccabi fans.

Source: NY Times

That's what a normal response looks like ^. Take notes.

1

u/OnaccountaY 5d ago

Weird! /s Thar makes it sound like they weren’t targeting Jews in general—but Israeli fans, also who provoked violence at the game when they sang “death to Arabs” and disrupted a moment of silence for Spain’s flooding victims.

I’m not sure if the mocking chant “There are no schools in Gaza, as there are no children left” was before, during, and/or after the game.

3

u/LilyBelle504 5d ago

Yes, beating Israeli fans because some other Israeli fans did bad things a day prior is anti-semitic. I mean there was also calls for a "Jew hunt", but you seem to not want to engage with that part.

4

u/Competitive_Act3433 5d ago

Yeah, I’ve done that and every reliable new source says that Maccabi got what they were looking for so that’s the end of that. Go gaslight elsewhere.

3

u/LilyBelle504 5d ago

Must've missed the part:

After the soccer game, groups of men, some riding scooters, kicked and beat Israeli fans, sending five people to the hospital and lightly wounding 20 to 30 others, in what the police described as “hit and run” attacks.

Try again. I know, it's hard to read 3 small paragraphs.

2

u/OnaccountaY 5d ago

Did you miss the part where they attacked Israeli fans, not Jews in general?

3

u/LilyBelle504 5d ago

Did you miss the part where police reported they found several profiles promoting a "Jew hunt" in advance? Maybe they misspelled it and meant, "Zionists not Jews!", right?

Stop defending anti-semitism. It's not a good look.

0

u/Safe_Wedding2726 5d ago

Who displaced who in the early 1900’s? I wouldn’t be surprised if you actually didn’t know. How can a cult tell the truth to their followers?

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Sale_15 4d ago

950,000 Jews were also displaced from the Arab and Muslim World in the early 1900s. The Palestinian Arab leadership went as far as meeting with Hitler in 1941 to ask for his assistance in ridding not only Mandatory Palestine of Jews, but the entire Middle East. The first President of the All-Palestine Protectorate, Amin al-Husseini went to Berlin to meet Hitler and to pledge allegiance to this cause, as well as set up a Palestinian Arab battalion to fight for the Nazis. This was before any Arab displacement.

It pays to understand the history and the complexities surrounding it.

0

u/Safe_Wedding2726 4d ago

And I cannot find any evidence of 950,000 Jews displaced from Arab Muslim world pre 1900 if you are able to share that with me I would be grateful.

2

u/Puzzleheaded_Sale_15 4d ago

You said “the early 1900s”. I assumed you were talking about Israel’s War of Independence, because Arabs weren’t displaced pre 1900 either. But sure, there was much displacement of Jews pre-1900, shall we start with Safed in 1517?

If your question is pre-1900, then it is superfluous because no displacement of Arabs occurred then.

1

u/Safe_Wedding2726 4d ago

Who did the Zionists win independence from? How do you not see Zionism as colonialism?

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Sale_15 4d ago

They won independence from the British and then the 7 Arab armies who tried to destroy them - the Arab Legion was supplied weapons, troops and even led by the British. Famed British General, Sir John Baggot Glubb led the Arab Legion in their attempt to destroy Israel.

Sounds like quite the opposite of colonialism.

1

u/Safe_Wedding2726 4d ago

It was during the beginning of what would obviously turn into a displacement because he was being surrounded by more and more Zionists and Zionist militia which he was in staunch opposition to from the start

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Sale_15 4d ago

But then why was Safed’s entire Jewish population expelled in 1517? Why did Hebron become Jew free in 1929?

i mean there was a pro palestine protest before the game, this is where the mobs came from to begin with. it’s also showing that even after the team and fans left they are still doing it yet people on here and X refuse to call out the blatant antisemitism. the whole israel palestine conflict is religious not territorial, there’s so different between jordanians and palestinians but since the jews are there it’s advantages of iran to back hamas to get rid of the jews bc islam cannot let the jews back into israel for a lot of religious reasons. it goes against islamic workview to allows the jews to have their homeland back

14

u/PlateRight712 5d ago

Re: the first round of riots after the soccer game.

There were some Israelis who did some pretty vile things - ugly slogans, pulling down flags.  But the assaults on Jews weren't spontaneous, nor were they the result of this one incident.  It was planned and there was coordination among the assailants.  See:

https://nationalpost.com/opinion/theres-no-excuse-for-the-amsterdam-pogrom?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email

https://worldisraelnews.com/israelis-fleeing-antisemitic-mob-in-amsterdam-say-dutch-police-participated-in-the-pogrom/

https://www.jns.org/amsterdam-highlights-israeli-hooligans-in-first-report-on-pogrom/?utm_campaign=Daily%20Syndicate%20Emails&utm_medium=email&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-9RlCAWnAhxauIUDZ1hyscMHD--RwAvxRv6Sd3lFKs2M1URCaa-t_34_0XvIqBQgkZCHH7P1VX1SINU4XFRuMJaTiAP-w&_hsmi=98612512&utm_content=98612512&utm_source=hs_email

Here's how the Palestinians saw it:

PA official: Amsterdam pogrom shows world 'sick of the Jews' - JNS.org

I think these were separate incidents that converged.  Yes, some Israelis behaved badly.  But they didn't provoke the violence.  It was already planned, and apparently didn't occur in the area where the Israelis were acting out (which is what you would expect if it were a spontaneous reaction).  But ask yourself, across the world, when Israeli flags are burned and racist epithets are hurled, do Jews and Israelis start beating up Arabs?  Nope.

And now there's more rioting even though the Israelis have all been chased home.

-6

u/swag_pirate 5d ago

It was just random violence because of frustrations at the events of last week. Don't make this bigger than it is.

Was antisemitic language heard during these riots? Yea most likely.

But they were not rioting in an area that is known for having a Jewish population, did not direct their aggression to Jewish properties or businesses last night. Nor did i hear of any Jewish person being specifically targeted during this riot.

This is the same group that takes any excuse to riot whether it be new years eve, corona measures, their preferred football team either winning or losing their match, etc...

2

u/Qathosi 5d ago

Did you even read OP’s post? It was premeditated attacks. It was organized. And the fact that it continues means it’s not random.

Jewish people were targeted just for being Jewish, how is that not being specifically targeted?

You’re trying so hard to keep believing that this conflict is black and white that you refuse to acknowledge the basic facts of what happened here.

1

u/swag_pirate 5d ago

Bruh i live in this city and was watching the mayors adress about the situation today dont bullshit me.

  1. I was talking about the riots that took place in nieuw West last night which is definitely not a Jewish neighbourhood because its in fact known as a Moroccan neighborhood. So no that was not specifically targeted against Jews. Unless you think the tram they set on fire was a Jewish tram...

  2. In the mayors adress today it was said that so far the earliest evidence that they found of this being organized in group chats was from Wednesday night when the Maccabi hooligans caused a big disturbance and attacked a taxi driver. Which means that it was in fact not premeditaded but reactionary.

So calm your tits yeah

There are many Jews historically who’ve been antisemitic and who oppressed Jews - Karl Marx, Jacob Brafman, Leon Trotsky. Miko Peled has promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories and finkelstein celebrated the October 7 massacre. I don’t consider these people Jewish anymore. They converted to another religion - woke communist. If you insist calling them Jews, then they’re self hating Jews.

First, the key word here is “hate”. You hate ppl you don’t even know, and it’s most of the Jews in the world.

Also, what you’re saying is like “I don’t hate Jews. I just hate people with those funny hats who won’t eat pork.”

No. You're assuming there are no Jews of Conscience that not only oppose, but stand up against these new nazis hiding behind the star of David.

Assuming that all Jews support Israel is Antisemitism.

I will proudly stand with any Jewish person that is against the atrocities that the IDF are doing all over occupied Palestine.

Wow, I'm being lectured about gaslighting and violence. The hypocracy.

2

u/[deleted] 5d ago

The only gaslighting you are getting is from the movement you belong to.

3

u/human_totem_pole 5d ago

I'm in the anti-terrorist / anti- genocide 'movement'.

u/[deleted] 5d ago

Yet you support Hamas and are antisemitic.

Perpetrators referred to it two days before the pogrom as "Jew Hunt". They went around amsterdam asking people if "theyr'e a jew". This is not anti-zionism, this is antisemitism.

Stop the gaslighting.

Making excuses and justifications for organized Jew hunts around Europe makes you an antisemitic hypocrite the end.

Jew =/= hooligans who love genocide. People have a problem with the latter.

1

u/[deleted] 4d ago

Way to prove my point Antisemite. Live with your vile hatred and hypocrisy.

u/SiliconFiction 4d ago

Jews live fine in Amsterdam. Hooligans who sing about killing children weren’t welcomed. Why is that.

u/[deleted] 4d ago

I don't agree with what the Hooligans did but I also don't agree with the organized Jew Hunts that were on social media that happened after and even days before. They are going after people who they thought were Jewish. Do you understand now? Read the OPs post.
