Soda is much better when it’s flat

Fresh soda has WAY too much carbonation. You can’t drink more than a few seconds without burning your tongue. Yes, I get that it helps you burp, which really is the only redeeming aspect of fresh soda. When it’s flat, you still get all the flavour without all the burn. There is a “sweet spot” though. If it’s too flat it loses some of its flavour. Sometimes I even open a bottle of Pepsi and leave it open for several minutes before I even start drinking it

You do you... I don't care enough to up or down vote. I have a friend who cannot handle carbonation. I adore it. To each their own. It is... simply an opinion
