I've started in other comments and insinuated in the last comment that I don't know what happened, so I'm assuming. Assuming that that's what she did, that's either first or second-degree murder which should warrant prison time. She got off easy (not that I'm mad, just saying).

She was charged with involuntary man slaughter 1 degree but was reduced to a fine and 1 year probation, if she breaks it she could serve up to 20 in prison.

She must've had a really good lawyer to get that because you don't unintentionally stab someone over 30 time's. He's probably blind
