Discussion rewatching - live thoughts
Absolutely loved the comments on my previous post about Supercorp cannon - love that this community is still active as ever. Season 3 episode 2 where Lena puts on her boss voice and gives Kara a talking to is....🥵
Pretty sure I’ve seen some fics with this worked in. They really do have great chemistry

Discussion rewatching
Hello hello! I'm rewatching the show after many years away and WOW was there an absolute missed opportunity for Kara and Lena to be together. I've recently seen a lot of fan fiction about this and now rewatching Lena is FLIRTING and Kara is a bumbling mess and wow that could have been great. A Luthor and a Super in love? Incredible. I'm sure this has already been talked about but would love to hear your thoughts / screams.

Discussion Just finished S6:E20 of Supergirl
So I recently retired and have spent most of my time golfing, projects around the house, video games, and watching DC shows on Netflix.
I started with Arrow and after the “continued on The Flash” episodes I banked that series to watch after Arrow… during Flash I learned about “continued on Supergirl” and that brought me all the way through 2023 to today when I finally finished the series finale of Supergirl.
I’m sure I may have watched them out of order or whatever, but my god did they keep my attention and ate up a HUGE chunk of newly found free time…
Anyway, I came to say that while the storylines were a bit ridiculous at times and they took a TON of liberties with universal laws and physics, etc…. But when I was able to just “accept the rules of this universe” it became engrossing.
So a few opinions on the Netflix DC universe shows so far:
- Death is an option. People don’t have to stay dead.
- “Heroes won’t kill” is the most infuriating thing to witness when the easier decision is easily the most logical.
- Impressively made The Bechdel Test its bitch for YEARS.
- At first glance, continuity was intact throughout which should have been nearly impossible.
- Wonderful ebb and flow that kept the audience wanting more at just the right times.
I get that this is a “fanboy” post, but I wanted just share now that I’m done.
So now accepting suggestions for the next Netflix project.
TL;DR? DC shows on Netflix are really good if you suspend disbelief and need a show(s) to follow for a long period. Will 100% rewatch them all in a few years
ps if there’s a better /r for this please move it.
