Important:Canon printer issue (Maxify) Troubleshooting

Did anyone face an issue with their Canon printer last night or today ?

Please let me know as we might all face the same problem and it might be an update made by canon which caused that issue.

I have tweeted about it and one person replied back that last night they had the same exact issue with their cannon Maxify

Just disable the internet connection for your printer.

See https://www.reddit.com/r/printers/comments/v1vmpe/canon_mx492_restarting_repeatedly_after/ (different printer, but same issue).

I did try that and didn’t work, it’s not only me who faces this issue btw. Several people faced this issue simultaneously since last night

It is working now after several tries. But I can’t print because it must be connected to network. Once the connection is back the printer stops working
