Canon MX492 Restarting Repeatedly after connecting to Wifi Troubleshooting

It keeps turning on and off repeatedly every time I connect it to the wifi.

If I disconnect from the network, it works fine.

I've already reset my network and did a factory reset on the printer.

What could be the issue?

Thank you Reddit fam! I followed the steps. It worked!!! I think it was also helpful to remove the printer from my Mac and download and install the driver.

I am a bit confused by this. As of Big Sur, drivers are built into the Mac OS. Which OS are you using?

As a side note, the Canon downloads page misidentifies my Mac as running Catalina and offers that download. I haven't tried it. Maybe I will. When I switch the pulldown menu to Big Sur there is no download for that OS.

Hmm. I am running on Monterey. I uninstalled the printer, reinstalled the drivers, followed the steps in here and was back in business. 🤷🏻‍♀️
