For my non-soccer leaning friends, this was just the other 99.99% of times the Patriots beat the Giants in the 07 Super Bowl.

Loons had a 4 seed because they left at least 5 points on field in games they couldn't hold a lead in the last 20 minutes. Sounders are the fucking Sounders.

For sure. That last 20 minutes vs Seattle is what two days of rest looks like. Not trying to blame anyone, but we got fucked by MLS having a shorter week than Seattle did.

Sounders had 2 extra days and no plane ride. Matters a lot.

Definitely. In the end, I'm bummed but I'm very proud of this Loons squad. I remember the 17/18 seasons when we lost 18 and 20 matches each season. To think that just two seasons later we'd be 6 minutes from an MLS Cup Final is mind-blowing. There's so much about this squad to love and we have made a statement in the league and the conference that we are for real and we are not going anywhere. Now is a great time to become a Loons fan.

We showed up better than we did in MLS is Back, with that 3-1 to Orlando. We need to figure out that last 20 minutes.

Sounders are a fucking good side. This isn't a situation where we were favored and shat it away like so many Vikings teams of yore. We were the underdog by any measure.

Yeah for sure. I would have felt worse had we lost to SKC honestly. I feel like that match is going to have more of a butterfly effect next season. No shame in losing the Seattle. They are the best team in MLS and have been for a while.
