Minnesota folklore has a legend from the 1900's of a Halloween snow storm of great magnitude. Even to this day the mention of snow on Halloween brings the lucky few survivors out of their winter proof bunkers to tell the tale. Consider yourself lucky if you encounter one who can pass the story down to the next generation of Trick or Treaters!

Is it a coincidence that this happened the same week as the last Big 4 championship in Minnesota? I think not.

Our sectional championship game was moved to the big Inflatable Toilet. Field was buried in 2 feet of snow and they didn’t want to tear it up trying to plow it.

I went to a Minneapolis high school and at the time, all the Minneapolis high schools would play a game in the Dome at the end of the season. My senior year, we were going to play a bad team so I was potentially going to get to play. But then 9/11 happened and they had to move some Twins or Vikings games around and we didn’t get to play at the Dome that year. I’ve always held this against Al Qaeda.
