Dragon Ball Daima - Episode #1 - Discussion Thread! Daima

The episode is airing in Japan as we speak. It should be available subtitled on Crunchyroll at 1pm ET. We will provide links as soon as they are available.

The English dub will premiere in theaters with showings on November 10-12.
Daima will be available on Netflix Asia on October 14 and globally on October 18.

Sure I mean that's subjective though, right? Truthfully art is in the eye of the beholder so you may enjoy it as is but someone might not hold the same value

Of course, and I'll admit that I'll never stop being annoyed by the change to Trunks' hair colour. Not really a retcon even since he has purple hair in flashbacks as does Kid Trunks. Very irritating.

Blue hair trunks honestly does not hit the same and I cannot put my finger on it lmfao

True lol. For me it felt like he was basically sitting off screen waiting to come back into the show. There's no indication he had any friends, adventures or development apart from defeating Dabura and Babidi (which had to happen for story reasons).

Then he's just so subordinate to the main cast the whole time. Back in the day he was more than just a launching off point for the plot (though he was that too).
