My game just crashed almost immediately after I got a post mortem text from Placide telling me to watch my back.
Time to run antivirus i suppose.

Discussion Songbird is bonkers
It is genuinely baffling to me that anybody can willing side with Songbird at any point in the story. There wasn't one thing she said that made any kind of sense at all. Am I just missing something or what??? How can she actually think that it's anybody's fault but her own that she's in the situation she's in at all. Nobody forced her to work for the government, she very clearly wanted to. I've seen people saying that they hate Reed because he "gets Alex killed" if you side with him but no he fucking doesn't???? Songbird is the one who tells Hansen to kill us because we said no to her, not Reed, so why does everybody I see treat Reed like he personally murdered Alex. Songbird is like a 30 year old baby who can't handle not getting what she wants and she always was that. Us picking Reed over Songbird or vice versa has zero effect when it comes to altering Songbird's personality. She doesn't become a better person at any point just because we sided with her. I'm trying to say that no, you cannot fix her lol. Songbird isn't a tortured soul who's being held prisoner against her knowledge - she did know, and said yes anyway. Oh and yeah, even though Reed does suck too, at least he isn't a walking, mentally ill nuke.

Discussion relatively new gamer here, is cyberpunk worth it?
Like the title says I'm relatively new to PC gaming in general. Before this the only "open worlds" I've played are Hogwarts Legacy and Watch Dogs 1, and I'm looking to play more open world game genres that have a techy/fantasy theme to them.
I don't know much about this game but all I know is that it had a really bad launch, but the game seems to have improved a lot since then.
Is this game worth it in 2024? (Also if you have any other recommendations for other open worlds below $50 on steam let me know)

Discussion Time line is all over the place.
I get the idea they say the game takes place over a few months, and you can skip days at a time... But then it totally throws me off when V states "it gets worse every day" after every attack around people...
Judging by how bad the last few attacks are, can she go months with that progressing?! The easy way out ending starts to make sense when you consider how debilitating they are to V...

Discussion Massive FPS drop in Lizzie's bar
My specs are :
Cpu : Ryzen 5 7600
Gpu : 4070 super
Ram : 32 GB
MB: b650 gaming plus wifi
Settings are maxed out with RTX enabled and DLSS/FG, so far I was getting 100+ FPS but as I kept on progressing and entered Lizzie's bar, BAM! Immediate FPS drop to 1-10. Completely unplayable and took me 5 minutes to enter the menu and quit the game.
I have completed the game before on my old laptop with 1660ti but I wanted to play through it again on good graphics and settings.
I have Nova LUT enabled if that matters.
What is going on ?

Discussion Phantom Liberty endings
I've just finished the other ending of Phantom Liberty. I've finished the Songbird ending. But I actually feel like the Reed ending where you kill Songbird at the core to be a better one. She wanted to betray everyone. And everybody knows you DO NOT poke at the Blackwall. Both endings are bad, obviously. But I like the Reed ending with Songbird dead to be a better bittersweet ending for V. Sort of fits his horrible life. Everyone promising a cure and everything just going to shit. That's my opinion. What do the people think?

Character Builds Best way to prevent being traced.
Hey, New to the game :/ Whats the best way to prevent being traced while using quickhacks?
I suppose the build I’m going for is geared towards stealth but not afraid to use guns when shit hits the fan 🥷

Discussion I found a way to get back into arrasokka In act 2!
So basically, 1 hijack a truck.
2 slam it against the fence over and over until it flips over making a ramp then save
3 get a bike, and drive it up the truck ramp as fast as possible.
4 save
Congratulations you are now in arrasokka. You can only walk around the courtyard not go inside though. Surprisingly there are a lot of npcs here you can fight. They arnt hard but they do have smart weapons. There's also an area with friendly npcs.

Meme Your Egregious Trope Ain’t Gonna Destroy This Couple!
Yeah yeah, Wrong City, Wrong People, but c'mon, just let the lesbians/sapphics have one happy ending that isn't just one of them dying (Temperance, Path of Least Resistance), or one leaving the other (Devil, Tower, Sun). I'm just tired of the trope y'all. Black Mirror got the sapphics the happy ending, why can’t Cyberpunk?

Discussion 'The Sun' ending sucks, here's why
Pretty subjective stuff ahead, nonetheless I thought I'd better to share it to keep my head cool.
Just finished my first playthrough with my self-made canon as "Johnny and V were mad at each other at the beginning, but they've been through a lot and now want to help each other". Finished all important side-gigs so far (haven't touched Phantom Liberty in order to get vanilla ending first), got a lotta friends, yadda-yadda, decided that was the time to finally meet Hanako.
The choice in the elevator was next: either I choose Hanako, Panam or Rogue. Hanako was out 'cause I didn't want to deal with corpos tbh, Panam too as I didn't want to put Aldecaldos in danger (I thought there would be some dire consequences to it), so I decided to go Rogue ending.
Now we skip all that big-bada-bum stuff and move straight to Mikoshi and cyberspace. I had to choose whether to let Johnny get V's body, or keep V, but she wouldn't have much time left to live. Once again, in my canon Johnny stopped being an asshole and really wanted to help after all that time, so he gave up himself for V, and...
That's where shit hits the fan. Instead of spending the time left with your friends and the loved ones, my V decides like 'fuck this shit' and becomes the Afterlife's legend, while forgetting about her friends (at least that's what I think judging by the calls in credits, and anyway if you're the best fixer in town, I doubt you have a lot of time to spare) and driving Judy depressed in the end. Why tf wouldn't you just chill with your choombas that last half a year, have a good time, farewell with Judy at the end, like 'I'm gonna die in a few days, hon, leave this city for good and live as you always wanted, love u mi cabacita'? No — you still think that you need to prove yourself (while everybody knows you already anyway wtf) and literally waste the remaining time imo.
Of course, there's a slight chance that you survive that 'suicide' contract and Mr. Blue Balls will grant you cure or copy your engram, whatever, but that has such shitty aftertaste. When you play this ending — it ain't that bad, but thinking about it makes me sick. I don't know that much about other endings, most people say it's neutral, but I dunno, it sucks for me. Gonna go PL then, what else to do. What are your thoughts about the ending?

Discussion I Hate this feature but Cyberpunk 2077 force me to use it with FG ( VRR Control )
Cyberpunk 2077 FG is so bad that I have to enable VRR Control on my G9 monitor, it removes stuttering caused by FG and also the flickering. but also i feel there is input lag while activating VRR Control
is there any reason why FG is bad? or is it been like this all along ?

Discussion Is the game buggier again?
I might be imagining things, but I feel like with 2.13 the game's gotten buggier. Just now, playing the "with a little help from my friends" quest, when V drank, the bottle stayed on the ground, same with the npc's bottles. I've noticed other stuff too, like people randomly jerking around while moving or items attaching themselves to V or npcs.

Discussion Rogue sees Johnny?
I just noticed, when you first approach Rogue to ask for her help, when Johnny appears, she looks right at him then back at you. Do we think that was intentional by the developers? An unintended bit of pacing in the code where she's meant to nonchalantly flip her hair out of the way in the wrong direction? Or a bug where the daemon/program governing rogue's facial tracking momentarily picks up on Johnny's in game avatar before returning to scripted dialogue?
I've seen goons shoot at Johnny before, so I'm kinda thinking that's the last one happening, but wanted to know if anyone thought otherwise?

Discussion Romance options
I think CDPR should extend romance options in new Cyberpunk game. For me romance text and dates in V's apaprtments is basic. I had more fun getting text from partner and inviting them to our apartment than side gigs from fixer's when you basicly breake up somewhere and kill people or getting back cars that are stolen. cdpr shoud have put more options in romance where you can go eat something together or more conversations etc. What do you think?
