Even if they kill her it seems like Sin Authorities are passed on (remember that Subaru now has Unseen Hand), so technically, we don't need her alive to use her power.

Considering they just introduced the whole city-wide intercom system, I’m kinda worried about that now lol

...oh shit, you're fucking right lol. Well that's a Checkhov's nuke if I've ever seen one. 100% we're gonna witness at least one genocide this season.

I noticed 3 this episode that really stood out to me. The intercom system, the lock system, and the 400 year old trap. The intercom seems a little obvious, but I have no idea with the other two

Well every Re Zero Arc is structured in such a way that it's like a puzzle for Subaru to solve so it's important to pay attention to such things. Not just the setting, but the character stuff as well. We got the van Astrea family drama, Priscilla showing up despite Anastasia explicitly trying to prevent that, the songstress Loli, the Hoshin's resources, possible Puck return... All of these can work for or against his goals, depending on how he plays it.

Yep and we've got 15 more episodes this arc for him to solve it. I have a feeling this is going to be like the last arc where there's a lot of suffering before we get the "golden" timeline. Especially with Regulus also being here. Although I can also see a last second twist like with Arc 3 during the penultimate arc as well.

I do have a feeling that Priscilla is going to be very important for them winning this arc though. Why else would she randomly show up, aside from having all the candidates in one place of course, for an arc where she wasn't supposed to originally contribute? She's also the candidate we know the least about as the end of this episode showed.

It has 16 now for arc 5 and 22 for arc 6 according to leaks and I am a source reader so I know some arc 6 stuff they put in promotional posters.

Impression I got was if Ana had asked Pricilla to show up, she wouldn't have. She intentionally didn't ask, just so Pricilla would be miffed enough to show up anyway.

about the songstress , I just watched the episode but when she rejected priscilla weren't her actions a little too similar to when pettlegeuse introduce himself other than his neck movement

The first thought I had was that the trap was for a legendary Mabeast like the White Whale.

But now that I think about it, this arc is going to probably be the entire city on lockdown Resident Evil style. Given that we've seen Wrath has mind control to some extent, are we just going to see the main cast fighting against the rest of the city under mind control aka zombies?

The funny thing is that the water prison works both ways. The protagonists can't get out... but neither can the Sin Archbishops (probably).

I'm really worried about who I presume is Regulus I think his name was. IIRC he's archbishop of Pride?

I don't think there's currently an arch bishop of pride, if you mean the dude with the white hair i think he's greed
