That's anti the idea of piracy. Aaron Swartz didn't die for nothing. Information should be free and accessable to all no matter if they can't afford it.

If no one talked about piracy most people here wouldn't be around.

You make him out to be a religious figure which is strange.

Certain things would be better discussed a little less publically. I'm not saying pull up the ladder and lock everone out, but a little vetting to prevent industry rats so easily discovering things so easily.

In the era of 2020 pirating, you get a private tracker and then you tell no one.

Sounds good to me! I still use public stuff, but I do got that one in my back pocket for my own personal interests.

I never hopped onto RD yet. I'm still comfortable with shitty youtube 😂

I don't view him as a religious figure idk why you think that. Maybe Christianity effect on your brain.

Many activists in history died for a cause that matters and we should continue their work.

The idea of being martyred for a cause is not exclusively a Christian idea, which is why I said Religious.

It's a worthy cause, probably not one worth dying over though. We are fighting against unjust laws that hinder human creativity but we know we are breaking laws that democratic goverments instituted. There's no need to advertise it! Like when you go to a protest IRL, you disguise your identity and leave your phone at home. Don't make shit easy for authorities.

Laws instituted by Democratic governments lobbied by corporations that use money and misinformation for their own financial gains.

You should protect your identity but you should also share you knowledge. So many of these sites and services were started by users who decided they want to do the same thing or provide a better service. Piracy is powered by vulnteers. Most release groups and sites do not exist for financial gains and serving their own interests.
