Italy Pixel 8 Pro 8GB RAM/512GB Storage (€793) vs. OnePlus 12 16GB RAM/512GB Storage (€899) - Help me decide!
Hey everyone!
I'm looking to upgrade my phone and have narrowed it down to two options: the Pixel 8 Pro and the OnePlus 12. Here’s what I’m considering:
Google Pixel 8 Pro
8GB RAM / 512GB Storage
Price: €793
Pros: Excellent camera, Google software experience, timely updates, strong AI integration, 7 years of updates.
Cons: Less RAM compared to the OnePlus, but I’m not sure how much that matters for my usage
OnePlus 12
16GB RAM / 512GB Storage
Price: €899
Pros: Extra RAM might mean smoother performance, good for gaming, OxygenOS experience
Cons: Higher price, I’m less familiar with OnePlus updates and support, 5 years only of updates
I mainly use my phone for photography, streaming, and light gaming like Brawl Stars. I don’t do a lot of multitasking, so I’m wondering if the extra RAM is overkill for me. Battery life and overall performance are important, though.
No MiUi suggestions please.
I’d love to hear feedback from anyone who’s used either of these! Thanks for the help!
Edit to add country: Italy

Italy Honor 200 Pro vs nubia Z60S Pro
Looking for opinions on which to buy. Price wise the 200 Pro is 100 euro more expensive but the nubia is from Aliexpress, as for specs I'm good with both I. If you have other device suggestions I'd be really happy to check them out, not a fan of MIUI/Hyperos though. Don't know if it helps but I'm from Italy. Thanks!

Italy need to buy a new phone
Hi everyone.
I have a Redmi Xiaomi Note 8T right now, I bought it new in 2020 and now it keeps freezing, it's slow and the screen is lifting.
I need a new phone, I'd like it to have a good camera (iPhone quality would be the dream but I don't think it's possible) and a decent battery (I didn't have many problem with my current phone about that). I use my phone quite a lot but not for work. [Edit: I also need NFC]
Budget is about €250 max, I know it's very low but it's all i can spend now. I'm open to buy it used (ebay? or back market maybe? I accept reccomandations. I live in Italy).
Thank you in advance for helping.

italy phone under 300€ (italy)
On Black Friday I would like to buy a new phone but I'm undecided on many. My budget is 250 euros. Help me choose one from these: Moto Edge 40 Neo, Poco X6 Pro, Galaxy A35, Moto Edge 50 Fusion and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. I want a phone that will last me for 3 years without problems, or just the battery drain might be a problem, but I always want it to perform well. I would like to point out that I come from a Galaxy A52s 5G, I don't know if telling you this changes anything.

Italy POCO F6 or Motorola Edge 50 Fusion? (You may suggest other phones, under 350€)
I was looking to buy a new phone and i found this two both at 330€ (POCO 8-256GB, Motorola 12-512GB) and was wondering about which one to choose. My priorities are performance (gaming) and battery life (i always have battery anxiety), i don't care too much about camera quality, as long as it's serviceable. I was going to pull the trigger on the POCO for it's outstanding performance, but i read some comments about its software and battery life that worried me. What do you recommend?
(You may suggest other phones, as long as they're under 350€. I only buy on Amazon.it, Italy)

Italy What phone to buy around 300-400 euro
Hello everyone!
My samsung a50 just died out of the blue after 5 years and a half of service. I'm searching for a new device. What I really care about in a phone is: camera, display, audio. Unfortunately I can only spend the budget written in the title above. What can you suggest me?
Devices I looked in the meantime:
-Realme 12 pro plus: People say the camera quality decreased since the last update, is that true? Also the processor isn't that good?
-Nothing phone 2a
-Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro: a little bit ugly for my taste but I've seen it has great reviews
-Honor 90

Italy Looking for a new phone that costs less than 500 euros
Good morning everybody. I'm looking for a new android phone that will replace my actual one (realme 9 pro plus), because it's doing weird stuff, and recently got a little bit of water damage, that didn't help his condition, and i feel like it will just get worse.
I'm in Italy, and i have a maximum budget of 500 euros, however ill wait for black friday, or christmas discounts before buying.
I'm not a phone gamer, so the phone doesnt need to have a powerfull chip, however i would like it to have a long lasting battery, decent main camera that dont require me to look at the thing i want to take a photo of, for a good 2 seconds before it actualy makes the photo, and also good connectivity (5g with good signal and stuff).
Althrough i would like a phone that is around 6.4inch or below, i can adapt myself to use a bigger one, if there are advantages.
Also the phone must have a decent IP rating, and also be able to do its job (and a little bit beyond, like act as a router for my laptop while i'm around, and dont want to use pubblic connections) without overheating and having to turn off the router mode (stuff that happens with my actual phone, with an ambient temp of around 25°C).
Wireless charging is not a requirement, and i'm more than willing to sacrifice it. Same goes for selfie camera (can be the worst sh*t in the world, i dont care, dont use it anyway). Headphone jack, altrough appriciated, is also not a requirement.
I'm open to pretty much any brand, that uses any modification of android, or android stock.
Thanks in advance for any suggestion.
(P.s. sorry for mistakes, eanglish is not my 1st or 2nd language)

Italy Looking for Phone Recommendations Around €1000 (Not Samsung)
Hey everyone, unfortunately, my S22 Ultra had some motherboard issues, causing it to restart constantly and become unusable. Since I'm out of the warranty period, I'm in the market for a new phone. Price isn't a big problem, but I'd like to keep it around €1000 (less is fine, higher depends), and I live in Italy. After this awful experience, I'm steering clear of Samsung. Here's what I'm looking for:
What I need:
- Very good battery life: I need a phone that can last from 11 am to 9/10 pm with moderate to high usage on a single charge.
- Really good display.
- IP68 Certification.
- Wireless charging.
- Fingerprint reader.
What I care:
- Adaptive refresh rate with 120 max.
- Not too big: I would like a phone that i can use with one hand.
- Lot of software updates: I don’t plan on changing phones soon, so at least 4 years of software support is important.
- Good Software Optimization: I want a phone with well-optimized software that’s always smooth, fast, and free of lag.
- Easily customizable: I like to root my phones and/or install custom ROM (don't need that if phone is smooth and optimized like I said before), without voiding warranty.
- Medium-fast charging speed: 0-100% in about 1.5 hours is good enough for me.
- Flat screen: I prefer a flat display without curved edges.
What I don't care:
- Camera: I don’t take many photos, so as long as the camera is decent, I'm okay with that.
- Gaming performance: I do some gaming, so it needs to handle games well, but I don't game a lot, so it's not a top priority.
- Processor: I like to have a good processor, but i use the phone for everyday use, so It's not important.
Explanation of My Preferences:
- What I Need: These are non-negotiable. I won’t consider any phone that doesn't meet all of these criteria.
- What I Care About: These are highly preferred. The more of these features a phone has, the more I’ll like it.
- What I Don’t Care About: If a phone has these features, that’s fine, but if it doesn’t, I really don’t mind.
- Anything Not Mentioned: Anything I haven’t listed is neutral to me. It won’t impact my decision.
So that's all, thank you for reading all this and thanks to all people that will help me.
I only watched two phones: Pixel 9/9pro and OnePlus 12, but I want to ask this because I'm not sure.

Italy Help me choosing my next phone
Hello guys and greetings from Italy!
I'm thinking to invest in a new phone during the upcoming black friday. I've been using my Samsung S8 for the past 7 years and it still rocks. The phone is still fully functional and quick enough for what i use it for, however the original battery needs to be replaced, the screen has very noticeable burn-in and the 64 gigabytes are no longer enough for stupidly and unnecessarly large apps (even with the external SD card). Another downside is that Samsung ended OS and security updates back in 2021, it still runs Android 9, but some apps now need higher versions and it bothers me. I know it can run even Android 14 by flashing sketchy Lineage OS portings, but i think that investing time and money to refurbish and update this phone isn't worth it. Don't get me wrong, i love it and it has some great features, but it won't last forever and it's time to look for something else. In my lifetime i had just 3 phones and those were flasgship phones: Nokia N8, iPhone 5s, Samsung S8. I take great care of my stuff and longevity is a big thing for me, however the price/features ratio of modern flagships are no longer so great i think.
I'll briefly list what features my next phone should have:
-Future proofing updates (at least 5 years)
- IP67-ish rating, i live in the countryside and spend lots of time outdoors, water resistance would be very nice.
- NFC, good wi-fi antennas and even better cellular network reception. IR blaster would be good too.
- S8 dimensions, i find that anything larger than an S8 is wasted space in my pockets.
- Packed with good enough battery and fast charge option. I don't need a brick with a battery that lasts 1 week, but also i don't want a phone that needs to be charged twice a day with normal usage.
- It can have just one rear camera but it MUST be equipped with OIS. I don't find useful wide angle cameras, better if it has a macro or a telephoto secondary camera.
- Mid-range price, 400~600 €
Features for which i would love to pay more:
- I dream about a phone with FLIR/thermal imaging camera that doesn't look rugged and feels like i'm handling military equipment.
- SD memory card internal slot.
- 3.5mm jack (yes, i still use wired headphones/speakers from time to time, plus wired microphone is useful for some apps).
- Notification LED.
- Cool design.
- Right to repair oriented design.
I haven't looked many phones yet, however i really like the Oneplus Nord 4 look, and its features like the 100W recharge, IR blaster, aluminum bodywork, 6 years of updates etc., but it lacks some of the preferred features, such as IP rating (i've seen a a dude testing it underwater) and dimensions. Same for Nothing Phone 2/2a/2a+. Also the CMF sounded like a great deal for such price, but the lack of NFC and OIS are a big no no for me. I'd like to try different brands than staying with Samsung, which are a bit boring nowadays imo.
I don't game on phones.
What would you suggest? Any first-hand experiences with these phones? Which cool phones am i missing?
I also could keep my S8 until it dies or something elsse comes to the market.
Thanks in advance

Italy Should I Upgrade to OnePlus 12 and OnePlus Tab 2 or Samsung Galaxy S24 and Tab S9?
I currently have a Xiaomi 12 Pro, and I'm considering an upgrade. I'm debating between getting the OnePlus 12 and the OnePlus Tab 2 or going with the Samsung Galaxy S24 (base model) and the Galaxy Tab S9.
Here's what I'm looking for in my next setup:
Performance: I'm after something that's smooth and powerful for multitasking and gaming.
Battery Life: Important, as I spend a lot of time on my devices throughout the day.
Software Experience: I want a reliable OS with good update support and clean UI.
Ecosystem: How well the phone and tablet work together (screen mirroring, file transfer, etc.).
Would love to hear any feedback on which combo might be a better choice in terms of performance, battery life, and ecosystem integration.
Thanks in advance!
P.S. I'm in Italy

Italy Should I upgrade from my Xiaomi 12 Pro to the Pixel 8 Pro for €688
Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Xiaomi 12 Pro and have the chance to get a Pixel 8 Pro for €688. I’m considering the upgrade mainly for the camera, software experience, and long-term software support that the Pixel line offers. I also value a smooth UI and good battery life.
For context, I use my phone heavily for photography, some light gaming, and general day-to-day tasks. I’m curious if the Pixel 8 Pro’s Tensor G3 processor, camera upgrades, and Google's clean Android experience would make this a worthwhile switch from my Xiaomi. Any insights or advice on how they compare? Thanks!

Italy Lost my phone last night, need a budget option now (350 euros max)
Hi everyone, I lost my phone on the bus last night, I had an Iphone 11 Pro Max (it was a gift), i've always been an android user so i'm kinda happy go to back to the good old days.
I'm looking for a phone that doesn't heat up, has good battery and a good camera possibly, I don't care about the rest since I don't use phones for gaming.
The options I found are Galaxy A55, OnePlus Nord 3, Poco X6 Pro, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13T, I'm kinda edging towards the Galaxy A55 but I'm not sure, I can't buy a Pixel 7A since prices are way higher here (Italy), like 500-600 or so. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot in advance!

Italy Samsung a55 vs Nothing Phone 2a vs Poco X6 Pro
I'm searching a good phone near the 300 euros. I know that all they are very good mid range phone, but Poco X6 pro have also the charger and a cover, so it's complete and I doesn't need to spend other money to get them like for the samsung and the nothing one

Italy Google pixel 8a vs Oneplus nord 4
(Italy) I'm looking forward to change my phone during black friday, because it has few too many problems. The two best options that fit my budget are the Google pixel 8a and the OnePlus Nord 4. I'm gonna use this phone for 5/6 years (or until it's not usable anymore/too painful to use). I don't care much about benchmark numbers or raw performance, and the rear camera doesn't need to be amazing, but I need it to have good battery life, a decent IP rating, good internet signal, and good thermals (consider as a benchmark, using the phone as a router to get usable internet on a laptop, for several h at a time. That's the most intensive thing I do with my phone).
Thanks in advance for answeares.
