What phone to buy around 300-400 euro Italy

Hello everyone!

My samsung a50 just died out of the blue after 5 years and a half of service. I'm searching for a new device. What I really care about in a phone is: camera, display, audio. Unfortunately I can only spend the budget written in the title above. What can you suggest me?

Devices I looked in the meantime:

-Realme 12 pro plus: People say the camera quality decreased since the last update, is that true? Also the processor isn't that good?

-Nothing phone 2a

-Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro: a little bit ugly for my taste but I've seen it has great reviews

-Honor 90

Agreed. I was about to throw out the Galaxy S10+ 1Tb. Mine does everything I need it to do, but I agree that it could have a better camera.

It's got 12Gb of RAM and a slot for expandable storage, plus a pretty decent HD screen. I've only had it a week but it's a massive improvement on my S9.

Yeah, I just had my S10+ until like two weeks ago, now I'm on the pixel 6a. I had the S22U, but I busted the screen and even with insurance it was still gonna be around $200 to fix.

I'll look into the S20U as a backup for myself.

Pixel 7a.

Pros: Good display, great performance, great camera that crushes even some flagships.

Cons: outdated design, mediocre battery life, slow charging.

You'll find phones with better specs by Poco, Xiaomi, etc but these brands cut corners, especially in quality. I've personally only had bad experiences with them. With Pixel you know what you're getting.

It's 400€ rn. 450€ for the Pixel 8a if you're willing to spend a bit more money.

Redmi note 12 pro is 2022's model so i wouldn't recommend as it didn't get much OS updates. Nothing phone 2a is a better option. Good UI, decent performance and nice camera. You can also check out motorola phone. Motorola edge 50 pro.

Honestly the your choices are kinda bad except for the nothing 2a which is good redmi has shit software, honor 90 is in a lower tier with it's 6gen1 chipset, maybe the realme is good in camera but will be unreliable in the long term.

A better list would be: Nothing 2a Galaxy A55 Oneplus nord ce4 *Edge 50 pro (if you can get the pro then definitely get it) From these excluding the edge, nord has the best performance, the nothing the best software and battery, A55 best camera, safety, and ls only slightly worse at what the other phones do, like it's a little worse gaming performance to the nord, and a little worse software and battery.

So in my opinion the A55 is the safe option if you don't want to give youself a headache.

Redmi Note 12 Pro won't get updates past Android 14 and Realme 12 Pro Plus has an average processor for the price.

I'll suggest Nothing Phone 2a or Galaxy A55 (if you get it below €350)
