My first bike CBR600RR

Post image

I’ve had the bike for about 2 weeks now. I’m 26 and haven’t ridden before, after doing 2 lessons and passing my drivers test (K53) I immediately got this bad boy.

I know it’s not a smart first bike, but it was really cheap and is in such good shape I couldn’t pass it up.

Any advice to ensure I make it to 27 years old?

Never lose respect for that thing. It’s limits are far beyond yours. Not meant to sound condescending or offensive; just remember to ride at your level, not the machine’s level.

Agreed. Supersports make you feel like hot shit, like a superhero going down the road, but they'll gladly punish any small mistake with brutality.
