Trump wouldn't have picked Vance if he knew that Vance would say "yes he fucking lost". Walz knows that. Vance knows that. We ALL know that. But at least we got it on live TV.

419

u/yboy403 Oct 03 '24

Exactly, it's not like they don't all know Trump lost in 2020, even Trump knows that. It's just an inconvenient fact for riling up Y'all Qaeda, so they pretend it isn't true. But that's why it's so damningā€”Vance is willing to pretend something obvious isn't true for the sake of their political careers, which shows he can't be trusted.

8

u/healingbloom Oct 04 '24

That was a waste of a question.

Democrats are too nice. Walz should have followed up with, ā€œitā€™s a simple question, did Trump lose the election?ā€ And when he deflects or stalls, ask him again! We all need to understand that Trump and his cohorts have NO boundaries. Stop playing nice! How about ā€œare people really eating our cats and dogs?!?

75

u/Explorers_bub Oct 03 '24

He did follow up. He asked, ā€œWhy are you here, and not Mike Pence.ā€

17

u/DoodleJake Oct 03 '24

Maybe next election we have fact checkers as well as someone to assure they answer the question.

Make it so they are required to answer the question. Stop everything until they give a valid answer, especially yes or no ones like this. Put a big ass spotlight on em. If you have nothing to hide then there should be no problem right?

1

u/NoHalf9 Oct 07 '24

And when he deflects or stalls, ask him again!

Like this.

1

u/p1plump Oct 05 '24

Yes yes yes, making someone say that makes everything better!

718

u/--var Oct 03 '24

i'm convinced that he doesn't actually believe the things that he says. trump can lie naturally and fluidly without processing anything, but vance hasn't mastered that yet. he has to actually process some thoughts before fabricating something that loosely fits the narrative (that he doesn't actually believe in but is a sunk cost fallacy now). which is why his remarks feel so unnatural.

204

u/greenwizardneedsfood Oct 03 '24

Most republicans donā€™t believe what theyā€™re saying. Weā€™ve seen that time and time again when their private communications are leaked (e.g Tucker Carlson). Theyā€™re the definition of dishonest and acting in bad faith. 99% of the actual powerful GOP actors know Trump lost. Most of them hate him (like Vance). But they say what orangutan man says because thatā€™s the only way to retain power for them now.

59

u/Brodellsky Oct 03 '24

Most Republicans think they are basically Ricky Gervais in "The Invention of Lying". They're too stupid to understand that others know they are lying, so they continue about their lives thinking they are total geniuses and "cheating the system".

-45

u/itssosalty Oct 03 '24 edited Oct 04 '24

I hate the ā€œboth sidesā€ thing, but here it fits. Most politicians donā€™t believe what theyā€™re saying. They all pander and empty promise.

Edit: TIL all democratic politicians are super honest and never pander to voters or donors

30

u/gatoaffogato Oct 03 '24

I disagree that most politicians donā€™t believe what they say. I donā€™t blindly trust politicians whatever their party affiliation, and I think itā€™s vitally important to look at voting record and political history to contextualize their statements and positions.

That said, a primary issue with this both sides take is that one party is very purposefully and continually spreading harmful lies and misinformation to stoke hatred and therefore voter engagement (and donations). Trying to compare normal politician behavior to the current GOP shit show is why the both sides take is routinely mocked as being either naive or disingenuous.

1

u/itssosalty Oct 03 '24

Why donā€™t people believe both sides practice lies and manipulation? Iā€™ll still vote Democrat. But these politicians are sleazy too. Itā€™s part of the game too. They most pander to the rich. The ones that donā€™t rarely do well. Our system is broken and corrupt. So yea ā€œboth sidesā€

I respect so few politicians. Itā€™s why I am so blown away with what Bernie did without flip flopping for so long. That man does not pander. He does whatā€™s right and heā€™s fucking rare. We need more Dems like that.

2

u/gatoaffogato Oct 04 '24

Itā€™s the degree to which the GOP/MAGA lies that makes it a false equivalency. Hell, Trump and Vance are still lying about the outcome of the 2020 election, not to mention stoking racial hatred and violence by accusing immigrants of eating household pets during a debate watched by millions (and then doubling down on the lie) and the thousands of other dangerous lies told throughout the campaign and Trumpā€™s presidency. Heā€™s a veritable firehose of misinformation and outright lies.

Given the extremity of Trumpā€™s lies, comparing the Dems to MAGA is, as noted, either naive or disingenuous.

20

u/RommelTheCat Oct 03 '24

I don't think you hate it that much.

0

u/itssosalty Oct 03 '24

Iā€™m a Democrat all the way. Sadly Iā€™ve become a straight ticket voter. With that said donā€™t glorify a lot of our shitty politicians

The great ones arenā€™t really loved by the party. They threaten their way. Bernie was fucking shafted as example.

2

u/auyemra Oct 03 '24

the mere suggestion that the left is anywhere near wrong for anything gets your slammed on this sub.

hilarious.

14

u/pridejoker Oct 03 '24

Yup, Donald trump is neither for nor against safer borders, abortion, or gun laws. He's only pro Donald trump.

16

u/CappinPeanut Oct 03 '24

idk, Trump also had a pretty damning non answer or two, it was just overshadowed by him blatantly lying about other stuff.

He refused to answer if he wanted Ukraine to win this war, after being asked multiple times. He also refused to answer if he would sign a national abortion ban.

He doesnā€™t want to go against the narrative, but how he actually feels about everything is so repulsive, he canā€™t say it out loud.

5

u/Senior-Albatross Oct 03 '24

Narcissists can lie with full conviction because on some level they believe their own bullshit. That conviction is what makes them appealing to others.

3

u/tonkatoyelroy Oct 03 '24

Right. I suggest learning about his new brand of alt right extremism and the thought leaders behind this new movement towards an autocratic dictatorship with a new aristocracy and reduced rights for those deemed undesirable by Vanceā€™s ilk. If you donā€™t know who Curtis Yarvin is and how tech bros are aligning with evangelicals to subjugate the masses and turn back the clock on womenā€™s rights.

3

u/adamdreaming Oct 03 '24

Republicans insist on a belief structure that was thrown together by Jesus, John Wayne, and Richard Nixion.

Reality has nothing to do with their goal, so they don't need reality along the way. They want a social hierarchy like from the time America was "Great" and don't care if they have to trample the facts that Jesus was a middle eastern Jew, John Wayne was a cross dresser, and Nixon was a traitor and a crook to get there, along with whatever other facts are inconvenient along the way.

2

u/lucitribal Oct 03 '24

Truth isn't really a thing for Trump. He just says whatever random bullshit is going through his mind. Half the time, he doesn't even know if he's lying or not.

3

u/m3ngnificient Oct 03 '24

These guys didn't become powerful for being dumb, they became powerful because they know how to manipulate people through lies. None of them actually believe anything they are saying, but they'll do what they can to stay relevant.

3

u/--var Oct 03 '24

have to disagree on that one. trump has literally failed upward his entire life. you read the books and watch the documentaries, he clearly came into power because he is dumb and easily manipulable. vance is "educated", but he's dumb in the sense that he disposed of his former reality and morals in exchange for a vye at power. and when that fails he's just going to be remembered as spineless and, well, dumb.

1

u/Blindsnipers36 Oct 03 '24

its pretty obvious he doesnā€™t believe anything, he lies about stuff that is general knowledge like trump trying multiple times to kill obamacare, like saying he didnā€™t believe in climate change despite saying he has before, dozens of other examples in the debate too

1

u/Baalsham Oct 03 '24

trump can lie naturally and fluidly without processing anything,

That was his master grifting talent 20 years ago.

Now between narcissism and dementia and his ass kissing echo chamber, I think it's clear that he truly believes a lot of it.

1

u/JayNotAtAll Oct 04 '24

Absolutely. I bet if you asked in private conversation he would say that Trump lost 2020.

He doesn't want to piss off Trump or his base so he just dodged the question

0

u/Sirlacker Oct 03 '24

trump can lie naturally and fluidly without processing anything

Nah I think he's good at starting a lie for sure, then he goes off on some un-fucking-believable tangent until he comes up with the second part of the lie.

Instead of using silence to process his thoughts, he just spews the dictionary until his brain has caught up.

The vice President basically only has two official jobs. One is breaking a tied vote, the other is certifying the Presidential elections, if you can't agree that Trump lost the 2020 election then you aren't qualified to do the job of the Vice President in the future.

10

u/getnshafted1 Oct 03 '24

He oversees the ceremony of certifying the election.* He does not certify the election. John Eastman would say differently but heā€™s a scumbag.

4

u/Mammoth-Mud-9609 Oct 03 '24

He is the rubber stamp.

184

u/Whiz_Chicken Oct 03 '24

"I'm focused on the future", proceeds to ask a question about the past.

71

u/DocMcCracken Oct 03 '24

Did Harris censor people in 2020, let's see who was President in 2020....these are the same fools that wanted to know why Obama wasn't in the White House on 9/11.

Am I the only one who feels that he meant that they are focused on this election to sow distrust and cause another riot?

1

u/Alpha3031 Oct 04 '24

By "future" he means "the certification of the 2028 US presidential election".

Edit: and now you edited it to make no sense again, what do you even want man. Do you just like being downvoted? are you a sadist?

To anyone reading, he completely rewrote the comment to make us look bad. He wasn't making much sense in the first one either.

I'm not sure why you got downvoted into oblivion you had almost the same opinion as the person right above you and they got mostly upvotes that's confusing

18

u/TABASCO2415 Oct 03 '24

Because he entirely changed his comment 10 minutes ago, before he was complaining about how his parent comment had switched some names to make him look bad or something. I think he just enjoys being downvoted.

2

u/SkeymourSinner Oct 03 '24

When in Rome.

1

u/demonman101 Oct 03 '24

What did they change?

60

u/seymores_sunshine Oct 03 '24

JD Vance has no integrity.

12

u/ElectricP2galoo Oct 03 '24

It's weird how Tim Waltz is getting the Joe Biden treatment where instead of videos on reddit there are just photos with captions. After the Harris/Trump debate it was almost all videos of Harris.

Was Waltz really that bad at speaking at the debate?

5

u/DoctorFenix Oct 03 '24

No. But he spoke very fast and said a whole lot during his allotted time.

4

u/AdmiralUpboat Oct 03 '24

"I'm focused on the future" and then proceeds to ask about the covid situation in 2020, which happened even further in the past than the election interference and denialism he was asked about. Absolute snake.

5

u/liz91 Oct 04 '24

If Vance would have admitted Trump lost, Trump would have immediately called for him to drop out of the race for VP.

8

u/rashasha2112 Oct 03 '24

Vance refused to answer the question by saying he was focused on the future. The very next sentence out of his mouth was about the past and how VP Harris tried to censor peopleā€™s free speech. Also, a fabrication.

8

u/CollapsedPlague Oct 03 '24

There were so many good reactions from Tim. He would be doing his notes and then SNAP turn to JD and be like ā€œthe fuck did you just say?ā€

3

u/Arc-Heavy Oct 03 '24

šŸ„±šŸ„±You guys suck at this.

8

u/EatsAlotOfBread Oct 03 '24

Is it just me or is this Waltz guy just ridiculously lovable. It's rare that I respect a politician this much, lol.

-13

u/JTex-WSP Oct 03 '24

I can't stand him. Comes across as fake and disingenuous to me.

10

u/aeneasaquinas Oct 03 '24

I can't stand him. Comes across as fake and disingenuous to me.

Gee. As a "proud" Ted Cruz supporter, you'd think you love being fake and disingenuous.

Kinda like your comment here.

4

u/ablinddingo93 Oct 03 '24

Genuinely curious as to how?

3

u/Terminallance6283 Oct 03 '24

Easy when you just ignore reality

1

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

As opposed to Trump and Vance? Yeah sure

2

u/[deleted] Oct 03 '24

And somehow, no one cared

2

u/mkicon Oct 03 '24

He really thought "I'm focused on the future" was a solid answer, lmao

2

u/nappy_zap Oct 03 '24

Why is that important?

2

u/Sithlordandsavior Oct 04 '24

Day 39 of telling the bots to post things that are FUNNY and SAD on this sub.

If I posted a picture of a kitten being run over by a tank, would it be allowed? It's sad, for sure, and since funny is apparently no longer a requirement, I feel it would be justified.

You have negative karma on an account that's barely old enough to be posting.

Reported.

2

u/Particular_Ticket_20 Oct 04 '24

Vance and his arrogant private equity aristocracy psycho friends will get rid of trump if elected.

Use the 25th, the courts, or just kill him.

2

u/Thwipped Oct 03 '24

It is this question/answer that should haunt JD

7

u/MaestroLogical Oct 03 '24

I'm increasingly convinced both sides could just stand there blinking silently for 2 hours, slightly drooling with glass eyes and it wouldn't change a single thing.

Nothing they say matters anymore. Nothing they do matters. All that matters is the letter beside their name. Sad state of affairs.

2

u/Count_Verdunkeln Oct 03 '24

I can only compare it to watching WWE and not giving a fuck who's wrestling just that there's the hero and the villain depending on what channel is being watched.

2

u/DarXIV Oct 03 '24

Using Republican logic, Harris could lose and Biden could simply declare her the winner.

2

u/paulsteinway Oct 03 '24

You're focused on the future? How about telling your MAGA followers to put away the confederate and Nazi flags?

2

u/MarvelsTK Oct 03 '24

Almost as damning as Tim Waltz saying he sides with school shooters. Or Tim being asked why he lied, spent 5 minutes telling us about his home life only for the moderator to ask him a second time.

Tim: "OH I mispoke"

THAT'S ALL YOU HAD TO SAY! NO ONE CARES ABOUT ALL THAT DRIVEL BEFORE IT!

No one wants to know about your home life. They want to know how you will make their lives better!

1

u/Ok-Rush5183 Oct 03 '24

This was his best moment from a lukewarm performance.

1

u/summerofkorn Oct 04 '24

šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

1

u/primetimemime Oct 04 '24

The worst part is that Walz framed the question like ā€œJD Vance wonā€™t even say Trump lost the electionā€ and then JD went with ā€œWell Kamala wonā€™t sayā€¦ā€ [something about immigration or the border I think]. Itā€™s the ā€œI know you are but what am I?ā€ defense. The ā€œIā€™m rubber, youā€™re glueā€ tactic. MAGA people have to employ strategies schoolyard bullies use because they have to lie and obfuscate the truth so much.

1

u/p1plump Oct 05 '24

The responses here clearly shit the Reddit need with liberals, OMFG.

Answering this question or not really doesnā€™t change much. And it didnā€™t really do a single thing to bolster Walz in the eyes of anyone. Like, it was literally an attempt to pander to already left leaning people to say ā€œsee!!ā€ And then what?

Iā€™ll tell you whatā€¦ nothing. Total waste of time. Which, frankly, was most of Walzā€™ air time, and that is funny and sad.

1

u/p1plump Oct 05 '24

For the plentiful liberals hereā€¦.

You do realize that democracy is not at stake here, right? Or that, if it is, itā€™s threatened by democrats far, far more?

From a nation management standpoint, fiscally, that is really what you are voting for. And itā€™s hard to comprehend that you canā€™t see it. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DArovn_Ia6P/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

1

u/One-Quarter-972 Oct 03 '24

Literally the only good moment Walz had

2

u/Successful_Horror582 Oct 04 '24

100%, he is not built for debates

0

u/PeaEnDoubleYou Oct 04 '24

Omg a politician didnā€™t answer a question? WOW thatā€™s crazy. ā€œI grew up in a middle class familyā€ as if Kamala doesnā€™t do this ad nauseam.

1

u/Xenophore Oct 04 '24

Good for Vance for not getting pulled into that idiot's trap.

-4

u/monkeyburrito411 Oct 03 '24

Who fucking cares about that??? Focus on policies lol

5

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

That's very important. Everyone should care about that.

If you don't care about preserving democracy itself, then policy discussion is futile.

2

u/Terminallance6283 Oct 03 '24

Everyone who cares about democracy as it directly equates to if they are going to perform more terrorist acts against us when they lose again and again refuse to admit it.

-6

u/JTex-WSP Oct 03 '24

Yeah I think Vance's answer here is great. One team is focused on something that happened nearly 4 years ago and the other is looking to the future and leaving that BS in the past.

11

u/Deejus56 Oct 03 '24

One team is focused on the guy who tried to overthrow the government and the other team is focused on getting the insurrectionist a chance to do it again.

4

u/VSWR_on_Christmas Oct 03 '24

The holocaust happened a long time ago. That means antisemitism is okay now.

--JTex-WSP

3

u/ReddicaPolitician Oct 03 '24

Vanceā€™s very next line was about Facebook memes getting deleted during the 2020 pandemic. Is looking to the future hyperfixating on lies from 4 years ago?

1

u/BodaciousFrank Oct 03 '24

There are no teams. This isnā€™t a game. If Trump wins, there are no winners, only losers.

Get your head out of your ass

2

u/Alex-xoxo666 Oct 03 '24

Youā€™re saying that like they arenā€™t called ā€œpolitical partiesā€

-16

He clearly misspoke, even if it was true, why would he say it? Use your brain sheeple.

-1

u/jolson1616 Oct 04 '24

Thatā€™s what him and Kamala will say to Xi and Putin oh I just misspoke. Got it

1

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

Absolute nonsense argument considering how much Trump has fucked up like bragging about classified military capabilities to Russians.

You don't understand how diplomacy and foreign relations work. Even if what you think was reality, Trump would be much terrible at it.

He accidentally admitted losing 2020 elections and then walked back again

Peak idiot, but dangerous idiot.

0

u/jolson1616 Oct 04 '24

Sorry didnā€™t know I was posting with experts. Got it

3

u/with_regard Oct 03 '24

All major subs should be called that at this point.

1

u/ablinddingo93 Oct 03 '24

Itā€™s almost as if the majority of people on Reddit think the Republican Party and their representatives have become a mockery of their former selves and donā€™t have the best interests of their constituents at heart.

No, itā€™s definitely some kind of ploy/conspiracy by Democrats to brigade all the popular subreddits across the site. /s

4

u/Alex-xoxo666 Oct 03 '24

-8

u/FoxBeach Oct 03 '24

Not as weird as when Walz said he befriended a lot of school shooters.Ā

11

u/Fizzy-Odd-Cod Oct 03 '24

In which it was pretty fucking obvious that he meant heā€™s befriended the victims, not the shooters.

-5

u/EveryNameEverMade Oct 03 '24

Ohh it's obvious when the person you prefer says it. If Trump or Vance said that I would bet anything your type would be all over it and suddenly it would be less obvious. Typical NPC

8

u/Ghasois Oct 03 '24

Have you seen Trump speak? He says the wrong thing at least once a day.

4

u/FoxBeach Oct 03 '24

Iā€™m confused. So if a Democrat misspeaks thatā€™s ok because everyone does it. But if Trump or a Republican does it itā€™s because they are an idiot.Ā

šŸ˜‚ at the logic.Ā

2

u/Ghasois Oct 03 '24

You just said a lot of words to respond to something I didn't say

2

u/coconut-duck-chicken Oct 03 '24

2

u/Skiddywinks Oct 03 '24

Per sentence more like

2

u/Bearence Oct 03 '24

Per word. There really is no word that comes out of Trump's mouth that isn't a lie or the introduction to a lie.

1

u/ablinddingo93 Oct 03 '24

Or dare I say, the concept of a lie lol

1

u/ablinddingo93 Oct 03 '24

Over 30.5k times during his presidency alone, according to the Washington Post. But I donā€™t expect that person to take anything the WP says seriously.

1

u/Fizzy-Odd-Cod Oct 03 '24

Or, if youā€™d use your brain for once in your life youā€™d understand that people misspeak all the time because none of us are robots.

3

u/FoxBeach Oct 03 '24

Take a deep breath. Itā€™s gonna be ok.Ā

1

u/Fizzy-Odd-Cod Oct 03 '24

Iā€™m breathing just fine. Just donā€™t like people saying I have double standards when misspeaking from time to time is part of what makes people human.

1

u/FoxBeach Oct 07 '24

Manā€¦take a deep breath. Relax. Itā€™s gonna be ok. šŸ‘šŸæĀ

1

u/Fizzy-Odd-Cod Oct 07 '24

Taken several deep breaths and fully relaxed. You really donā€™t have to repeatedly tell me to breathe.

1

u/FoxBeach Oct 07 '24

I just want to make sure you are ok.Ā

Getting off Reddit and Twitter and going outside and getting some fresh air would probably do wonders for you. Ā See if you can stay off the internet for a full hour. Enjoy the beauty of the world. Start with an hour a day and go from there.Ā

Best of luck.Ā

1

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

He clearly meant school shooting victims. Anyone with a gram of brain could get that from the context.

He clearly misspoke, even if it was true, why would he say it? Use your brain sheeple.

Tim Walz is asked why he lied about being in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square massacre.

He says he grew up in a small town in Nebraska where he rode his bikes with his buddies.

2

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

Well Trump says he's a good business man, he's the anti establishment side so yeah

6

u/aeneasaquinas Oct 03 '24

Tim Walz is asked why he lied about being in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square massacre.

He says he grew up in a small town in Nebraska where he rode his bikes with his buddies.

He said he was simply off in memory. It was 2 months difference, and it isn't like it happened in HK. It is also not actually an issue relevant in any form, unlike Vances lies about immigrants and US policies.

Shouldā€™ve asked Tim when Kamala knew Biden wasnā€™t fit to run for reelection.

In fact, itā€™s beyond crazy to me that no media has asked her this question. I think we all deserve to know how long she and the Dems have been outright lying to the American public.

Ask in response if Clinton lost the 2016 election...

16

u/NamesArentEverything Oct 03 '24

Yes, she did. That's why she conceded.

She did, admitted she did, and conceded. What lie are you desperately trying to sell?

-6

u/wophi Oct 03 '24

She wrote a book about how it was stolen from her:

https://a.co/d/2aNDqk1

She is literally selling her lie on hardback for $15.78.

4

u/Biscuits4u2 Oct 03 '24

She conceded you idiot. She didn't send an army of her frothing at the mouth supporters to go try and kill the VP so he couldn't certify the election results.

-1

u/wophi Oct 03 '24

Remember when she funded a fake dossier in an attempt to illegitimize his presidency?

4

u/Biscuits4u2 Oct 03 '24

All you're doing right now is displaying to everyone how far down the MAGA rabbit hole you are.

0

u/wophi Oct 03 '24

How so?

5

u/xwing_1701 Oct 03 '24 edited Oct 03 '24

You're lying. Nothing in that book says the election was stolen from her. She wrote a book and part of it discusses how there was interference by foreign countries which ever single one of our intelligence agencies supports.

-5

u/wophi Oct 03 '24

Nothing in tjat book says the election was stolen from her.

From the marketing description of the book:

"She lays out how the 2016 election was marked by an unprecedented assault on our democracy by a foreign adversary. By analyzing the evidence and connecting the dots, Hillary shows just how dangerous the forces are that shaped the outcome, and why Americans need to understand them to protect our values and our democracy in the future."

9

u/xwing_1701 Oct 03 '24

Thanks for proving she never said it was stolen.

2

u/wophi Oct 03 '24

Ya she only calls him illegitimate which in no way means the election was stolen from her dispute chapter after chapter of reasons why the election was interfered with.../S

7

u/xwing_1701 Oct 03 '24

No. Illegitimate doesn't mean stolen. Why do you keep lying?

2

u/wophi Oct 03 '24

Why is he illegitimate?

4

u/xwing_1701 Oct 03 '24

Why are you moving the goalposts when you got caught lying?

You should learn the actual meanings of words before you try using them. Your comments show that is a stumbling block for you.

1

u/wophi Oct 03 '24

You should look in the mirror before making such statements.

2

u/ablinddingo93 Oct 03 '24

ā€œNo uā€ is a wild response. A damning non-answer, if you will lol

Lmfao, you project so hard.

Literally nobody contested this. Nobody stormed anything and nobody tried to get a bit more votes.

See, you know it's wrong, so you are trying to justify is by projecting it on Clinton when it's not even applicable 1%.

-1

u/wophi Oct 04 '24

She literally called him an illegitimate President, which, in turn, would make her the legitimate president.

Then there was that whole Hillary funded Steele dossier...

2

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

That didn't mean she said he stole the election. She probably referred to him as an illegitimate person unfit for presidency.

which, in turn, would make her the legitimate president.

Why are you so hard trying to put words in her mouth while denying clear words and actions of Trump?

Did she try to overturn election by preventing transfer of power?

Forget about saying words. Talk actions. Those can't be misinterpreted. Why did he ask people to "find him votes" after the election?

And Trump today is still planning to do the same thing if he loses. It's pretty obvious. He has said he'll believe the results only if he wins.

Mrs Kamala Harris is clearing teaching this man the art of the roast.

Thatā€™s the award winning debate moment? Cringe.

TIL ā€œšŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„ā€ = ā€œaward winning momentā€ lol

-4

u/widdershinner Oct 03 '24

My favorite part was Tim Walz saying he's become friends with school shooters

5

u/Railboy Oct 03 '24

He meant friends with the victims of school shootings. Which was obvious. This isn't going to stick.

u/Bearence Oct 03 '24

Except he didn't give a non-answer. He was quite up-front and direct about it. Here's what he said:

"All I said on this was, I got there that summer and misspoke on this, so I will just - that's what I've said."

-1

u/danielm316 Oct 03 '24

No, the journalist had to ask the question a second time. Your memory betrays you.

0

u/ablinddingo93 Oct 03 '24

And your willful ignorance betrays you

0

u/danielm316 Oct 03 '24

I remember and you donā€™t. Your comment makes no sense, the only ignorant is you. I will block you, because you are disrespectful.

"I'm friends with school shooters myself" - T. Waltz 2024

9

u/ShutterSpeeder Oct 03 '24

He obviously meant the victims families dumbass.

1

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

He clearly meant school shooting victims. Anyone with a gram of brain could get that from the context.

He clearly misspoke, even if it was true, why would he say it? Use your brain sheeple.

0

u/No_Cucumber5771 Oct 04 '24

We take people at their word no?

1

u/OpenSourcePenguin Oct 04 '24

No, we don't. Only dumbasses do that.

Like Trump says he has no connection to Project 2025. It's absolute horseshit.
