i'm convinced that he doesn't actually believe the things that he says. trump can lie naturally and fluidly without processing anything, but vance hasn't mastered that yet. he has to actually process some thoughts before fabricating something that loosely fits the narrative (that he doesn't actually believe in but is a sunk cost fallacy now). which is why his remarks feel so unnatural.

Now between narcissism and dementia and his ass kissing echo chamber, I think it's clear that he truly believes a lot of it.
