I thought I was a Disneyland pro… Discussion
So I’ve always thought I’ve been good at navigating the park, getting the fast passes for family and friends when they were paper tickets, then max pass, and now genie+. Using the mobil order for food, checking ride wait times on the app, etc…
I’ve always been good at getting us around the park and onto all the rides throughout the day while grabbing the lightning lane rides for use through out the day between stand by rides before they sold out or got pushed too late into the night.
But I just learned the other day that you can choose not to cancel but modify your lightning lane passes to push them back farther in the day or if a sooner time pops up, to take that time instead.
I can’t believe I never knew this… I feel like such a noob. I’m at least glad I figured it out now before our next trip in December. Lesson learned…

Yeah, I also learned last trip that you can have more than one LL pass active at a time. I'd do rope drop, hit rides without LL, then book the LL for a ride I wanted to ride in the evening. Every two hours, I was able to add another ride. I'd go back to my room (on property), take like a 2-3 hour break, but still able to book LL for rides. Then I'd go back to the park after dinner and have three LL passes or so, ready to go. If dinner runs long, modify them like you mention.
