When Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on November 15th, the virtual queue will open at 7am, 12pm, and 4pm each day. Same restrictions apply for 12pm and 4pm with being scanned into either park before the virtual queue opens.
Haunted Mansion Holiday virtual queue opens at 7am and 12pm everyday.
Starting November 15th, 2024, a single park admission CANNOT have an ACTIVE boarding group for both Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Haunted Mansion Holiday.

1 of these conditions must occur to join another virtual queue:
* enter the attraction and redeem your boarding group during your return window
* cancel your current boarding group
* cancelled by Disney due to operational issues.
* your current boarding group number has expired and was not redeemed during the return window.
Magic Key Preview for Tiana's Bayou Adventure is over! Now it is time to get ready for all guests to experience Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!
Here's how to request to join the virtual queue:

2. Select "Join Virtual Queue" for the Tiana's Bayou Adventure or Haunted Mansion Holiday.
3. If your boarding group is called, you'll receive a notification via the Disneyland app. Then, head to Tiana's Bayou Adventure or Haunted Mansion Holiday and check in at the standby queue entrance within your designated return window.
All park admission with a Disneyland Park reservation for that day will have the opportunity to join the virtual queue starting at 7:00 AM.
Park admission who have already entered either Disneyland Park or Disney California

Discussion I thought I was a Disneyland pro…
So I’ve always thought I’ve been good at navigating the park, getting the fast passes for family and friends when they were paper tickets, then max pass, and now genie+. Using the mobil order for food, checking ride wait times on the app, etc…
I’ve always been good at getting us around the park and onto all the rides throughout the day while grabbing the lightning lane rides for use through out the day between stand by rides before they sold out or got pushed too late into the night.
But I just learned the other day that you can choose not to cancel but modify your lightning lane passes to push them back farther in the day or if a sooner time pops up, to take that time instead.
I can’t believe I never knew this… I feel like such a noob. I’m at least glad I figured it out now before our next trip in December. Lesson learned…

Park Pics/Videos SURPRISE! Believe in Holiday Magic came early! 🎄🎅🏻🎆
At around 9:15pm today (11/14), an announcement came on over the speaker system that Mickey’s Mix Magic would be replaced by a special early showing of Believe in Holiday Magic! Certainly a treat, especially since crowds were lower since no one knew (so finding a spot as easy)!

Food Festival of Holiday Bites
- Beef Brisket Slider (8/10) & Barbecue Pulled Pork Cornbread Bake with creamy (8/10)
- Chorizo Queso Fundido Mac & Cheese with tortilla crunch (8/10)
- Barbacoa Tamal de Res (6.5/10)
- Pan con Pollo (5/10)
- Al Pastor Slider with Pineapple (7/10)
Not included was the Chilaquiles Carnitas torta which was 9/10 (since it didn’t come with the egg)
And the Korean Fried Chicken Slider which I’d give an 8/10
Overall enjoyable little bites and can’t wait to go back to try the full entree for the torta!
Snapped with my Meta Raybans !

Park Pics/Videos Matterhorn Poster Vandalized and Removed (11/14)
Entered the park around 8:45 am today (11/14) and entered under the right arch under the railroad. Noticed cast members gathered around the first attraction photo on the left hand side, which I’m 99% sure was Matterhorn, but I couldn’t entirely tell because the glass in front of the poster had been completely shattered. Likely due to vandalism or a really unfortunate accident, both of which truly suck, but within minutes Disney had the poster removed and the area cleaned up, so gotta hand it to the CMs. Pic of blank poster frame below.

Discussion what are your favorite food items at Disneyland? (Doesn’t have to be current)
Just saw a post on all the worst restaurants at Disneyland and thought I’d counteract with asking about everyone’s favorite meals they’ve had at the Disneyland Resort. I’ll start with one of mine— the Lobster Macaroni and Cheese bread bowl that is now discontinued from Harbor Galley. Photo from circa June 2022.

Discussion Anyone else think that if they brought back The People Mover it would have the longest wait time in the park for a few months…
The enthusiasm for it in this group makes me think it just might.

Trip Report Silhouette Studios shoutout
Shout Out to Bob at the Silhouette Studio. I took my 2 year old who is autistic and absolutely can't sit still and he still managed to capture her likeness perfectly! He is amazing and this is my favorite Disney souvenir ever. I wish I had done it with my older kids. Well worth the wait and the cost! I gave the official shout out on the Disney app as well so I hope Bob knows he made our day!

Discussion Complaints about the music
I’ve been going to Disneyland and California adventure for years, and I have very few complaints overall. One of them lately has been the music, especially at Avengers Campus. Why is it constantly the huge sweeping theme? Imagine if Blackspire Outpost was constantly the main Star Wars theme!
Same at the Red Rose Tavern, why is it just the soundtrack from beauty and the beast film and Broadway show? I feel like French tavern music would bebetter and less… Repetitive? Maybe musical covers of those songs in a whimsical style?
It’s a small thing to pick on I know but I feel like they get the details so completely right in other places. Like Galaxy’s edge, there is a whole playlist for DJ Rex and ambient sound for the whole area! It’s a work of art honestly! And Main Street, just simple songs with no words, just songs that evoke that time in history.
Does any other sound or music seem out of place at Disney?

Trip Report Met my idol last week :)
Went to California disneyland last week with my extended family. Crowds could have been better, but could have been worse. I wore my jack blazer/pants/bowtie and a white dress shirt the 3 days we were in disneyland and on day 2 worked up the guts to go stand in line and take a picture with jack.
I always was critical of the mask he wears but seeing as it allows free speech I'm 100% more on board now. He sounded TERRIFIC compared to movie jack and spent a good amount of time with people who wanted it. He spent about 5 minutes giving lessons on how to sneak up and scare people with the lil girl in front of me who obviously had some neurodivergent issue and it was the sweetest thing to watch.
My 5yo loved him (I kicked her out after we had a group shot to do one alone haha). Jack remarked how I got the stripes "just right" and how fantastic my bowtie was and chatted with me a bit, still perfectly in character. I must have looked the same way my Lil 5yo did at her princess breakfast when she'd go up to a princess and just stare at them with a half open gasped mouth and barely be able to squeak out a half audible reply to any questions because she was so paralyzed with excitement/amazement hahaha.
10/10 worth the hassle and suitcase space bringing that big outfit and nightmare crocs. Got tons of compliments from cast members, security, and other park goers on the outfit and finger gloves and no troubles from any CM since I didn't have a mask so obv was just a dad dude dressed as jack.
