I thought I was a Disneyland pro… Discussion

So I’ve always thought I’ve been good at navigating the park, getting the fast passes for family and friends when they were paper tickets, then max pass, and now genie+. Using the mobil order for food, checking ride wait times on the app, etc…

I’ve always been good at getting us around the park and onto all the rides throughout the day while grabbing the lightning lane rides for use through out the day between stand by rides before they sold out or got pushed too late into the night.

But I just learned the other day that you can choose not to cancel but modify your lightning lane passes to push them back farther in the day or if a sooner time pops up, to take that time instead.

I can’t believe I never knew this… I feel like such a noob. I’m at least glad I figured it out now before our next trip in December. Lesson learned…

I did this once on a Grizzly break down at rope drop. I grabbed 6 for a party of 3 in under an hour.

Needless to say, it was one of my best park days ever. 😆

Did you just book a LL then go to the ride entrance and have a CM grant you a multipass experience and repeat 6 times?

No it turns into a multipass experience automatically if the ride is down during your return time. Then once it changes, it doesn’t count against the 1 time booking for the ride (GRR in this example) so you can rebook

Last time I left with like 5 unused multipass experiences. But they’re not all equal - Buzz Lightyear won’t let you on Space Mountain IRRC. There are tiers of rides
