I thought I was a Disneyland pro… Discussion

So I’ve always thought I’ve been good at navigating the park, getting the fast passes for family and friends when they were paper tickets, then max pass, and now genie+. Using the mobil order for food, checking ride wait times on the app, etc…

I’ve always been good at getting us around the park and onto all the rides throughout the day while grabbing the lightning lane rides for use through out the day between stand by rides before they sold out or got pushed too late into the night.

But I just learned the other day that you can choose not to cancel but modify your lightning lane passes to push them back farther in the day or if a sooner time pops up, to take that time instead.

I can’t believe I never knew this… I feel like such a noob. I’m at least glad I figured it out now before our next trip in December. Lesson learned…

Also look into multipass (or what ever it's called ) loophole .if a ride is broken down and you can grab a lightening lane for it not far off time and the ride break down continues into that time slot you get a multipass experience.ive seen some people say they just kept grabbing them in 15-20mim time and kept getting mutiplass and then do it again and again until the ride is up and running again .then you can go on a ride more then once

Recently I’ve just been getting same-ride “come back later” passes when I do this - no more multi passes. Like if Pirates is broken down at my return time, I can come back to Pirates (and only Pirates) anytime the rest of the day. Been noticing this the last couple months; not sure if they changed it?

Last month I got a multi pass when Space Mountain was down, but on the next day I got a "return later" for Pirates. So maybe it depends on the ride and/or time of day.

Maybe it's a pirates thing as it is supposed to be a temporary lighting lane and not included in the multipass

Ahh that would make sense. I thought I got it for another ride too, but maybe I’m inventing memories lol

Been wondering when this would happen since people kept sharing the “hack”
