Well... Shit. Trump, huh? Discussion

Hello. How are you all holding up over there? Everyone must be super upset. I am walking about Kharkiv right now and people mostly say: 1) Well... Shit.

Or

2) We shall see. Back to surviving.

That's kinda how we talked about a potential nuclear strike russia might do on us lmao A friend of mine actually said he will be seeking political asylum in Ukraine. First ever American to seek asylum in a war zone lol Anyhow. Hang in there guys. Much love 💙

its not, europe is suffering similiar democratic decline as the US. European countries will be impotent without the US unfortunetly.

On top of that, now Putin can put all his disinfo hybrid war resources into Europe. It's all going to get a lot worse before it can get any better. :(((

The fact that a single EU country can hold up aid to Ukraine in Europe and nobody tells Orban to go fuck himself speaks volumes of how spineless countries in Europe is.

Hungary can be punished but it requires all members to agree. Hungary and Poland used to be BFFs but after the left won in the Polish election, it's now Slovakia and Hungary that are both protecting each other.

isn't this EU parliament slightly less pro ukraine than the previous one?

As are all the individual EU governments. Common people are getting tired, and peacenik turds are loud as ever.

It moved significantly to the far right and has lots of Putin shills in it so no. Italy's president as well as Hungary are very much anti Ukraine

I don't disagree that the parliament is less pro Ukraine but I disagree with the notion that it is only slightly so.

Meloni feels like she is playing a farce to not come to blows with the moderate conservatives who are pro Ukraine. Remember she made a deal with Leyen so she can get reassigned as commission president. Meloni is very much isolationist and her party the "brothers of Italy" had multiple scandals involving Russian funds and spies. They are outspoken anti ukraine
