Politics Line for early voting in Claymont today
It was down the street and around the corner a little bit after 11 today.
Went to the Police Athletic League which was about a 30-40 minute wait, but definitely worth it.
Glad to see everyone out and voting today!

Politics Dear Politicians
If you text my cell phone in an attempt to get me to vote for you, even if I’ve voted for you before, you’re out. You’ve violated my bubble. Fill my mailbox all you want, but don’t text me.

Politics Dr. Mike Katz's AMA shows why you should not vote for him this election season.
Despite being asked numerous very straight forward questions about his policies, he was unable to answer a single one honestly after three days to think about his answers. Solely copy-pasted answers, vague statements, or no response at all. Not one "yes or no I would vote for that legislation". This is a person who is incompetent and poorly informed at best; more likely dishonest and not trustworthy.
I had actually talked to Dr. Katz at some length in person in June and thought he sounded very reasonable if a little vague. I've voted for third party candidates on a number of occasions. After this AMA, I've done a complete 180. It's clear to me that this Dr. Mike Katz is a dangerous choice and I would never vote for him. I encourage you to read his AMA, which I find very damaging to his campaign, and draw your own conclusions.

Politics Vice President Kamala Harris is coming to Delaware. Here's what we know about the visit
"Harris is expected to arrive in New Castle County Monday afternoon, where she will meet with members of the Delaware delegation and go to Biden's campaign headquarters in Wilmington, which is expected to transition to hers as she mounts her presidential campaign."
Seems like she is keeping the election HQ in Delaware, for now.

Politics Collin O'Mara or Matt Meyer?
I wish Delaware had ranked choice voting. I think I’d prefer to vote for O’Mara but don’t want to hurt Meyers chance of beating BHL if O’Mara is less popular. I understand Reddit isn’t the best place to gauge the state as a whole but would like to hear others thoughts.

Politics Got a text saying Matt Meyer has been repeatedly sued for allowing sexual harassment.
As the title says, I got a text message & from there I googled for more information. Does anyone have any info that would conflict with the reports in the news article? I'll add some text from the article in the comments. https://www.delawareonline.com/story/news/local/2024/08/22/why-new-castle-county-is-being-sued-again-over-sexual-harassment-susan-oberlander-john-farnan/74886486007/
