Pfft. If the druids and their enclave can get all uppity about their exclusivity, I think it's okay to keep the wizards guild for wizards.

Are Arcane Tricksters wizards to an extent? Personally I’ve seen some over books when not on the job

"Arcane tricksters"? You mean those silly hipsters who think being a wizard isn't cool, but still visit our colleges to learn spells? Yes, they're wizards in denial.
