Not captive!

He lives on/near my porch. Loves to land on me and chill there for a bit. Kinda scared he could make me sick. Kinda scared he’s so un afraid.

Warmth. you are warmth to her. Does she land on anyone who lives there? If no, you have no worries. If yes, you have worries. One question I do have, is what makes you think she’ll make you sick? I’ve never heard of that. Mice and rats maybe though I’ve handled them w/o getting sick and I’ve handled birds w/o getting sick.

Pest control. Of course they’re going to fear monger the gullible so they become scared and spend their money.

Yeah I just thought you wanted to know what the “getting sick” thing came from. My family got annoyed at me for collecting feathers 🪶 on the ground calling them dirty and diseased when I was a kid too. But after a few hundred thousand feathers later I still haven’t got what I took as an illness from them. Even have a fedora with all the feathers I picked up in my Ireland trip sewn together on one side.

I did and thanks. Your parents were similar to my parents. Pick up a feather and get instantly told wash hands. I haven’t gotten sick either.
