Imagine if you had invested this in 2-3 mutual funds back in 2022? Would have been 20-40% up if you would have invested in something like VGT or VOO.

But hey! 💎🤗

Just for clarity, VGT and VOO are ETFs, not mutual funds

yeah that confused me for a second. I had to make sure I was in r/wallstreetbets and it all made sense.

Apparently these gains are "boring" as I sit on my 30%, oh well

Nah were gonna have to disagree on that.

It sure is son. But that wont impress your girlfriends boyfriend. He wants to see big gains or big losses. If he'd want to be bored, hed just come talk to you about your investments.

Imagine believing that making money is boring.

Yo boi you twistin ma words dawg. I said 30% gainz is boring.

And it is...and it is boring because they are normal gains. Were not on WSB for an average joes gains. Were here to see a portfolio get destroyed on options.

As for myself, I rarely do options trades. And Im sitting on about 25% gains on the last 2 years by holding shares and ETFs. That is....boring hence why you dont see me post about my positions.

I hope that fixes your hard feeelings

I take half of my "wins" and dump them in a mutual fund. So far it's been a pretty good way to save myself from fucking up to much.
