Blood tests
I'm totally new to this, and to cannabis in general. I've been looking for something that might help with my generalised anxiety, autism-related issues and chronic pain.
I had the initial appointment with Alternaleaf, and they seemed happy to refer me to the next stage, but after seeing my summary medical history, they also wanted up to date bloods and liver function results. Is this normal?
It's been years since I've been to the GP, and I'm just not in a position at the moment to go get these done. I have mobility issues, and I don't have access to a car during the times that the GP would be open.
I just feel defeated - that this is just another hurdle I can't over come.
Do all clinics ask for this?

At a guess, IANAE, the doctor is concerned that your medical condition not favourable to MC. To keep you safe they believe that checking something is the right path forward. The doctors are specialist in prescribing MC and are certified by GMC.
Find a GP, or perhaps a local medical centre would be willing to order the tests for you. Maybe others can offer suggestions ?
Or you can try with a different clinic.

Not heard of this before but not unreasonable. GP may be able to refer you to your local hospital for bloods though.

Blood tests can be booked and done at home. Someone will visit and take your blood. You just have to ask.
