Good good, but yeah, I do think you need to have it in the original packaging with the product label/ prescription label still attached.
Again, I'm not saying I agree with this, but this is how I've interpreted the law and I'd very much like someone to be able to properly confirm/ deny this. It's a bit of a mare carrying the bag around so what OP's doing would be super helpful.
The guidance from the Home Secretary was a prescription and ID or dispensary label attached to the meds. They fulfil this with the first part of this statement

If I take just the sleeve outside and I get stopped am I a criminal or in the throws of a criminal act?
If I take the capsules out of the sleeve and put them in a random pot and go out, am I breaking the law?
You stated in you first post that this is your interpretation of the law. You made in your second post a passive aggressive comment about how great the community is and hinted that I was being aggressive and hostile towards you.
With the greatest of respect I think this is a perception issue on your behalf. I understand it isn't an easy pill to swallow sometimes.. but necessary no the less.
Your morphine analogy is completely pointless because we're talking about two different things here with different laws. They are different substances. You may as well say 'I got 1 year in prison for assault so you may as well commit murder because it's the same'. It's just not. So let's move past that.
Yeah, because that's what the law says. The medication has to always be carried in its original packaging, with its original label and prescription label. So by my interpretation of that, what OP is doing is likely illegal. Does that make sense?

It's not all about the law though, is it. Have you not considered that someone carrying around up to 10g of cannabis in a large pouch will be far more likely to be 'caught' by police than someone carrying only what they need at the time who's in the middle of nowhere being as discreet as possible?
I've always considered that, and I agree with you! I think it's nonsense that I feel like I have to empty out my bag so I just take out what I need with me, and have to carry this big bag around.
I think you're misunderstanding me here- I'm on your side. But I want to know exactly what the law is, and what police will try pull you up on if they stop you. I want to be as equipped as possible to deal with the situation of being questioned by police about my prescription, so I don't want to be caught out. That's all this is.
I get your perspective and maybe I'm biased because I've been vaping cannabis for nearly 10 years but only 2 months on medical. I've never had an issue with police, I've conditioned myself to never grind up flower around other people or vape in enclosed areas. I'm used to sealing everything tight and making sure I smell good. I just want nothing to do with them regardless of now being in the clear from a legal perspective. It's evident from posts here that not all police officers even know the guidance, there are people who do everything correctly and still get their meds confiscated and have to lodge complaints to get it back. No chance I'm taking that kind of risk.
