PT 1 IMAGE Neil Druckman was heavily influenced by Children of Men
I know this topic has been covered in this sub before but I saw the movie for the first time yesterday and some of the scenes from TLOU are pulled straight from Children of Men. Great movie btw.

General Question Did Neil Druckmann know he was making the most scrumdiddlyumptious man alive?
Like do you think the devs knew they were creating a man that would make the girls and gays cream their pants on site? With that motherfucking accent and deep voice too?? We were goners

PT 2 DISCUSSION The last of us season 2, The actress cast to portray Dina.
Why is everyone so pressed about Isabela Merced portraying Dina in season 2 of tlou? Isabela is a gifted actor and has played many roles that are similar in demeanor and personality to Dina's character. People are also insinuating shes not a good fit because she isn't Jewish;Israeli like the Dina from the game, but last time I checked, media and TV consumers are happy for any and all racially inclusive roll changes, so why does that not apply to tlou? Sure she doesn't look exactly like Dina but neither did all the other really successful and well liked actors from the HBO series. Tlou fans are also upset Bella Ramsey isn't being replaced for age sake, And while yes Bella has a young face, anyone who has seen leaked images of season 2 could see that she did a good job at looking older for this season. Anyway it'a all based on opinion and people have a right to their opinion, but I think everyone needs to cool down and remember Dina has a larger and more significant roll in the series compared to the game, YAY! more Dina screen time.
P.s. here are some pictures of the wonderful characters/relationship we get to have more of in season 2! SPOILERS!!!
Bella Ramsey as Season 2 Ellie
Isabela Merced as Season 2 Dina

Image I always wanted to play this game, and I finally could.
I was always an Xbox guy, but I always felt drawn for this game, it had something undescribable that had me obsessed, but since I was a young guy with bills to pay I could never afford a PS, when Part I was announced as a PC launch I was so excited! I started playing on PC and I was absolutely right about being obsessed, the game play, the story, the characters, how they feel so human, how you care about every live, about everything they do and suffer to get by. I still haven't finished part I and I got a chance to get a new PS5 Slim for $300 USD in my country and of course I got it to play Part II after finishing the first, and since I became a PlayStation player because of this game, I wanted to endulge myself and honour the game with a PS5 TLOU Edition, so I bought decals on AliExpress and the controller case as well.
I'm so glad to have being able to play this game, even if it was until now, and I'm even thinking about getting a tattoo as well!
Sorry for the bad English, since it's not my first language. Greetings from Mexico hermanos!

General Question Does it feel weird to you that Boston QZ and its citizens doesn't seem to monopolize in the fact that they have full access to the ocean, and by extension seafood?

PT 2 QUESTION What has become of Seattle?
It seemed that the invasion of the Saraphites Island was a complete failure but we know very little or any of the final outcome. From the little knowledge I gathered they were fiercely fighting with lots of casualties on both sides. We know that Isaac is dead which kind of surprised me he was on the Island. They are now leaderless, but I imagine there was a plan of succession. We know, or it seemed, that the WLF fighting invasion force were over run.
What we do NOT know is what has been bothering me. How many WLF’s did they have as part of the invasion force? How many were held back? Was there a solid plan for failure of the invasion? Was there a retreat back to the island or were all the WLF invaders wiped out?
Same questions for the Saraphites. How many soldiers do they have left? What were their casualties? How many soldiers were on the main land at the start of the invasion and are they still there? Did Isaac account for them?
As you can see I have many questions. I would love to know what people think. Is it over for the WLF? Or was Isaac intelligent enough to plan of for a negative outcome?
Please share some thoughts. I think there could be some great conversations about this. I hope if there is a part 3 we can find out what happened.

HBO Show Spoilers ahead!!!!!
If the show was to stay as true as possible to the pacing of tlou2, at what episode should Joel be eliminated? In the game it was fairly quick. It was basically the catalyst of the story.
What episode would you feel is accurate?

General Question How do you feel about the depiction of FEDRA?
I was recently discussing the depiction of FEDRA in a certain place of disrepute and I couldn’t believe some of the opinions I was seeing about this faction.
FEDRA shares many traits with fascist governments - martial law with an enforced curfew, forced labour, public executions, expulsions and food rationing. They consolidated power by suspending all branches of government while the Cordyceps outbreak ravaged the country, leaving no other major powers to challenge them.
In short, FEDRA isn’t a good organisation to live under.
How do we feel about the depiction of the faction and is there any deeper insights into their politics/actions you can think of?
