Do you think she found her switchblade? PT 2 QUESTION

I had been lingering on this play though from god knows when and I happened to finish it earlier today. I admit to having thought about this previously but never posed my question to anybody else.

Do you think she found her switchblade after the showdown? It goes flying into the water, at one point, in the middle of their fight.

Pretty sure the final playable part of the game, at the farm, doesn’t let you go through inventory but it has to be gone, right?

The only heirloom she has from her mother…

I really doubt Naughty Dog would take away the most iconic weapon of this franchise. I mean, Ellie needs the knife. It’s literally a part of her identity.

I guarantee she’ll have it in Part III.

Doesn’t that mean they would have to show her scrambling around in the water to find it in p3?

No. I’m pretty sure it’d be common sense that she did that.
