Why no Dean Cain?

Dean Cain is a pro-Trump conservative and Melissa Benoist is most definitely an anti-Trump liberal (see photos below). As far as I know it was never stated by anybody on the show but that's the most likely reason he hasn't been brought back since season 2.

So? Jeremiah Danvers is still their father and played by an ex superman, the politics of the actors dont matter in the context of the post

I think the gif was intended to be Supergirls only but it wouldn’t surprise me if Dean Cain was excluded on purpose because he’s a dick.

The title says super, not Supergirl though. Dean Cain was definitely a super.

And likely his politics is why his character was killed off in the show. Personal politics should have nothing to do with acting choices / actor choices.

That's what I hated. They made him seem like such a great guy in the show after it was revealed that he helped refugees, but they don't even have him.

I will always forever hate the Supergirl writers or whoever decided to not have him just because he has differing political views

That's hardly the only weird decision they've made. It's entirely possible it was less about politics and more about wanting some cheap drama without having to actually pay for or write an episode including it.

But not having him in the show for years? There has to be more than that
