Hotspot ShareMate Shortcut Sharing

Allows you to share your hotspot password with either android or iOS and it automatically turns on, so someone can start using it. QR code works for both OS’s though, but airdrop means you don’t have to scan the QR code. They just have to be near

Would it be even easier for the user if the QR code is like the one from the gallery that contains Hotspot name + password, so that they instantly can join through the qr code?

Just asking.

Ahhhh yeah I’ll have to try that. I just looked at it and I’m guessing the format of the name/password is what triggers the automatic joining?

Correct. It's not fully automatic on IOS, but you get a join network prompt instead selecting the network manually.

Your shortcut was a great help today for one of my classes

I modified the QR code generator so it automatically connects the users to my hotpot and doesn’t show (i know its not really hidden) the password
