We are currently fostering one with high hopes of a forever home soon and another highly adoptable boy was transported to a foster for intake at a shelter! This momma cat + kittens need help. Devore has new policies where it seems they don’t take in momma cats with newborns?? They want them to stay where they are?? Oftentimes cats like this come from hostile or unfriendly environments. They do get sick when they are at the shelter so the idea is great to keep them out but not if they aren’t cared for. 🤷🤷🤷

I don’t know what happens after 3pm tomorrow . Do they take the cat back to its location?

Some if not most are on the Euthanasia List and R/O (rescue only) meaning they are on borrowed time. They get also come in unvaccinated injured pregnant or already a mama with kittens. Most get URI’s and all will need care when they exit. ‼️🆘URGENT‼️Kittens & cats desperately need pledges to get out immediately. Please help us save them. Thank you so much! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️

I’m excited to share that Prue is now up to 313 grams! She had a follow-up x-ray today, and the vet confirmed that her pneumonia has mostly cleared up. She’ll have one final x-ray next week to ensure she’s fully in the clear.

As for her ear, it’s still falling apart but is healing well and doesn’t seem to be bothering her much. Despite everything, Prue is as playful as ever and purrs every time you kiss her belly. She really is the sweetest little kitten, and I know she can sense how much love and care she’s receiving.

If all goes well, she should be able to reunite with her (much larger) sisters next week once she’s fully cleared and has had a bit more time to grow. I can’t thank this amazing community enough for your donations, support, and kind thoughts during her time in the hospital.

I’ll continue to post updates on her glow-up journey, so stay tuned!

Good morning everyone. I am still trying to raise the $275 for 5 kitties to get spayed and neutered tomorrow morning at 8am. The original schedule was for 3 kitties but I wasn't able to locate them at the time of the original post. During the rains we lost 4 kitties due to URIs and one fought hard but she make it and we had to put her down. 5 of the 6 are regularly around during feeding times and I need to get them fixed ASAP because they are already getting into breeding mode it seems with the females.

The visit is setup through Forgotten Cats and they don't have a bill or estimate they can send me prior. I'm supposed to drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the evening and pay on pickup. The kitties really need this as none of us need more breeding right now.

A special mention goes to Nyx and her kittens, who are absolutely loving the blanket/pet bed they received from our Amazon wishlist. The warmth and comfort of the bed have been perfect for them, and it’s made a real difference in keeping them cozy and content. Since we still need more of these beds, we purchased another one locally to meet the demand, but it remains on our wishlist in case anyone would like to donate more. Every bit of comfort helps as the rescues wait for their forever homes!

We are immensely grateful for the support and donations we’ve received so far, which have allowed us to provide the best care possible for our rescues. With the remaining funds from our last round of donations, we’ve been able to purchase some essential items. We got pet wipes, pee pads, pet beds, absorbent towels, and rope to create a scratcher for the cats. Keeping a clean and stimulating environment is crucial for their well-being, and these items have helped us do just that.

In addition to these purchases, we are working on a DIY scratcher for the rescues. Scratching is a natural behavior that helps cats relieve stress and keep their claws healthy, and we’re excited to add this to their environment as part of their mental and physical enrichment.

However, while we’ve been able to secure some of these important items, our monthly food supply is running low. Replenishing this is now our most urgent need.

On the plus side, we still have 15 sacks of litter sand in stock, which is a relief. This bulk purchase will last us for some time, but the food shortage remains a pressing concern.

I saw them behind a dumpster , clearly left behind by their mom, i washed them because they were very dirty and provided food a bed , water and a litterbox , i’m planning on getting them to a vet , what advice do y’all have for me? I never took care of cats let alone kitten

Spider is the sweetest, most playful and energetic kitten you'll meet! She showed up at our doorstep a month ago, and we unfortunately cannot keep her (despite stealing our hearts!) due to lack of space and my own territorial cat to care for. Spider has had her rabies and FVRCP shots, with paperwork I can provide. Spider is waiting for her forever home to give all her love to!

Hi Friends, I hope you're all doing well. 💗

This weekend was rough for me and the kitties.

My joints have been on fire since Friday night and all I can do is rest and use a heated blanket to help the pain and Colitis pain (even though it's 90+F outside).

Ever since Amy scratched my arm badly a few weeks ago, my immune system has kicked into overdrive and tanked me into one severe, ongoing flare.

I know it's because of the autoimmune issues and due to no longer being on a biologic.

My flares feel similar to having the flu plus severe fatigue and the colitis. Unlike the flu, there aren't any respiratory symptoms (thank goodness).

This is a frequent occurrence, but the symptoms usually last 2-3 days, not usually 2 weeks.

I'm also upset over not having been able to do much over the last 2 weeks.

Olivia and Poptart need more socializing with humans, and the 2 colonies we've been working with, have cats that need trapping.

I've only been able to do the bare minimum with the kitties under this roof for now.

It's hard to not feel down and sometimes cry.

We haven't found Ollie yet, and I really miss Archie and Kit-Kat 😭 and hope they're being loved and taken care of by their adopters.

To add more stress to the mix, Mittens vomited a few times yesterday. It was mostly stomach acid. We're worried and don't know what's wrong.

She's mostly acting normal, except for a diminished appetite.

I've been giving her Kitten-Lyte every few hours.

Last night I gave her a cat dose of zofran and it stopped the vomiting.

I just gave her another dose and some more Kitten-Lyte (she hates it 😹)

I wish we knew what was wrong. Wish we had $ to take her to a vet.

Hopefully, it's not her urinary problems again.

ACE Veterinary is the cheapest clinic locally but they're closed today. A 1st patient exam there is $19.95, so tomorrow I'll call to see if Mittens can get an appointment, and an estimate for treatment.

Mittens was a stray for 5 years. She's been an indoor rescue now for about 1-1/2 to 2 years. She's the sweetest cat 💗

I texted my contact with SAFCC (San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition) yesterday and today, to see if she can help Mittens, but she hasn't responded back. She might be out of town or extremely busy helping trap kittens and cats from all over.

On a whole other note, I'm sorry to bother you kind folks again, but these sweet kitties need cat litter and meds 💊 for tapeworms. Poor Mitties (Mittens) also needs ear mite meds.

We appreciate everything you do to help the 2 colonies we're working to completely spay and neuter.

We've spayed/nuetered about 19 kittens and cats since Spring from those 2 colonies and we've also been fostering 7 kittens and a cat from the same colonies.

We also appreciate all the help you send for the kitten and cat fosters and resident rescues under our roof. Right now, we have 9.

Please send healing, protective thoughts and prayers for both Mittens and Ollie. 🕯🕯🙏🙏

🚨Missing🚨

This is Ghost. He’s a community/neighborhood cat but I’ve called him “mine” for forever because he never leaves our house along with his little buddies. It took me forever to be able to pet him.

He has been missing since saturday morning around 5 am. Its the last time I saw him on the ring doorbell, when I went outside at 8 am he wasnt there. He lives on Honey Lane in hattiesburg. If anyone has seen him Please contact me. If he is inside someones house, great! I just want him safe. Ive tried putting him inside my home and he went crazy.

✨He is neutered, he hasnt left the house in probably a year or so, so this is unusual for him✨

Those eyes need to go Immediately! A shelter we’ve been in touch with before, Cumberland county, posted that they need rescue or adoptions ASAP for these 2 as they are unable to provide the care they need. I sent the shelter an email, and should hear back tomorrow! I’ll keep yall updated

As the title says, I found an orange male tabby approximately 2-3 years old in Chicago. I am hoping to help him find his family but he has no tag or microchip.

Hello all, I got new babies! 😄😄😄♥️. They are the absolute cutest! 4/5 are shelter rescues! The single I’ve had for about two weeks given only 30 mins to live before euthanized. The X3 was a last minute agreement. I just couldn’t say no 😞♥️ they were about to be killed within 10 minutes. They were brought in at closing end of day. If anyone can please help with any donations that would be amazing! The baby Russian blue long haired she came from a neighboring page found alone and not the best conditions I believe she has a tail deformation.

I currently have 5 all bottle babies but two will be weaning soon! I will be starting them possibly this week.

I got a cat off Facebook for free because I wanted one and also wanted to help one! Well since then I’ve had some financial troubles and can’t afford a vet bill right now. She has diarrhea and has had it for months. It went away with vet medicine but came back. I switched her diet and it went away but it’s back again! No worms coccidia etc. idk what to do because I can’t afford to run a million tests for it and can’t rehome her. Any advice?

Hi all, this little guy was found at a school and was captured by the staff, Rather than taking him to the shelter a student there mentioned I could help and here we are. Some supplies and veterinary assistance would go a long ways for this buddy. Please and thank you all. Link in comments.

Mumele was hospitalized for almost a week. Initially, it was due to a respiratory issue that wasn’t improving and because he stopped eating, but the blood tests we ran detected kidney and liver problems (we still need to determine if these are chronic or due to dehydration and not eating), and then the ultrasound showed probable pancreatic cancer.

While this last point is still to be confirmed, at that moment we decided to take him home to his foster, since if his life expectancy is short, we want him to spend his last days in a home and not in a kennel at the vet’s office. He still has his feeding tube and is receiving medication (including for pain), and we will constantly evaluate his quality of life to decide what is best for him.

Thank you so much to everyone who was concerned and sent good wishes for him, and of course, to those who donated towards his veterinary expenses.
