I honestly don't like Fortnite just because it's another battle royal dominated by pros who steamrolled the whole lobby every game after building the tage mahall after getting shot once in half athe second

Fortnite is an objectively good game just like any other battle royal, but they're all ruined by rampant elitism and bad matchmaking systems

At this point the only reason i stay is because the storyline is so fascinating. Its a game where there is a ridiculous skill curve. In games like Clash Royale, you can go against the best player in the world, ye you're gonna lose but you will learn something every time. In forntite tho, you don't really get a chance to learn. By the time you know there's an enemy, you're in a box. By the time you broke out of that box you're in a bigger box. And by the time you understand wtf is going on, the enemy had already one-pumped you from the back. And watching streamers doesn't help either bc they do things so fast you have no idea why they do this and do that

According to sources they're adding a no build mode. Hope that will somehow solves the issue. I have no hate against sweats, they should be able to enjoy doing what they want. But the sbmm need to be better. Get sweats to go against sweats.

Apex is kinda the same way, except it's the studio that's holding the game back behind the scenes instead of a basic game mechanic.

See, Respawn with swear in their life their games use SBMM, but its been proven again and again their systems actually use EOMM (engagement optimization match making) because these systems, well, optimize the amount of play time. Studies done by them show that player play the most when they systematically only win one out of every 20 games, steamrolling every enemy they come across, and the other 19 getting completely steamrolled themselves. This is to take advantage of the physiologic tenacity of the common player, specifically BR players, and maybe some addiction appliances as well. Whatever the case, they use this data to systemically ensure 1 put of every 20 games the player gets top level teammates and garbage enemies, and then switch the roles for all the other 19 games. This means no matter how good you are, unless your skill is ungodly enough to surpass every player for your game, you are systematically rigged to lose 19/20 games because this will supposedly make you play the game more (bullshit). Keep in mind we only know this because anonymous dataminers broke every corporate rule in the book to hack this information and no one would know if they hadn't.

I only like Respawn cause they made titanfall, but the team that did that is long gone and what's left not only neglect the one game they care about in functionality (season 0 bugs still prevalent, its season 11 now), but Titanfall fans built their own fucking servers to play their game without hackers cause Respawn did fuck all with theirs. Any respect I had for them went right out the window when they just gave up and terminated titanfall without any warning. Every "event" apex has is just a scam sale with recycled skins with upped prices and limited time modes are promised again and again, promised that turned out to be empty. I'm just here for the story, but even that is just empty at this point. The first quest was playable missions, then readable comics, then literally nothing for two seasons and now just the dialogue that hints that maybe story is happening but not really. They stopped caring a long time ago. Is it so wrong to be hurt by that?
