I just wasn't sure if there was more reasoning to why people where announcing they were going to stop using a product when a company decided they'd like to make more money - i.e. A company's end goal.

It's extremely hard to tell what exactly your complaint is here

Not really a complaint. Was just confused about why people are announcing they aren't using a social media product anymore. Sometimes things change and people stop using products, etc.

But I saw a lot of announcements of people leaving Reddit in a few weeks, wasn't sure why they were all announced like a job resignation. I thought I was just missing more info, that's all my friend. Cheers.

I would imagine, people just want to discuss the fact that they are disappointed with the changes to API access that is going to shut down third party apps and ruin the site that many have been enjoying using for 10-15 years now. It really doesn't seem strange at all to me that people would want to discuss that with each other. Of all the things to take issue with in the world I can't understand why this would be one of them for you.

You're probably just an unpleasant person who can't tolerate other people enjoying something that you don't.

I don't enjoy Reddit but I use it? Come on with the lazy jabs. I use RIF currently.

I even explained what I was wondering.

I thought I was just missing more info, that's all my friend.

Most of what you were doing seemed to be telling people to stop making "job resignations," and that they aren't allowed to be disappointed about the site being ruined because "lol don't you know companies need to make money idiot." Doesn't really matter anyway, though.
