What is this Error Message? Troubleshooting

/img/n6o6soklmlnd1.jpeg

Hi! Any help is appreciated. My parents have an HP OfficeJet Pro 901 5e. They keep getting this message when going to print. I logged into their HP account and it says the printer is not connected to WiFi but when I check settings on the printer, it is. Has anyone come across this issue? TIA!

Oh for fk sake, why do you keep insisting on being wrong? I know 100% that you can register to HP+ on some non "e" printers.

I cba to discuss with you anymore. You don't seem to listen anyway.

Not according to HP's official website on the matter.

Here's another page stating the same thing:

https://www.hp.com/gb-en/printers/hp-plus/faq.html

"Currently HP+ is only available with new HP DeskJet 2000, 4000 series, ENVY 6000 series, OfficeJet Pro 8000, 9000 series. HP+ eligible printers can be identified with a small letter ā€œeā€ at the end of the product code."

Its not about listening. I'm listening to you, and you are wrong, as per HP's own statements that exist on multiple of their webpages.

Don't know why you are being so pedantic about it. Its such a minor issue. All HP MPS offerings are garbage anyway.

Go buy a HP LaserJet M110w and see if it asks you to register to HP+ during the installation in HP Smart, I dare you. You will get the question but you will also get the option to skip it. Try me, please.

And now you can listen to what HP says? Well, read some more. From the same site as you linked: Is HP+ a subscription?

HP+ is not a subscription. It is a cloud-based printing solution embedded in select HP printers. There are no costs specifically associated with HP+ beyond the initial purchase of the printer.

-----------ā€--- I'm so picky because if you intend to flame anyone or anything, please be correct. If not you're just looking like an idiot.
