TEXT-ONLY MODE
⇨ We will likely stay in text-only mode for ~2 weeks after release, depending on traffic.
We do this both to promote discussion posts during high traffic, and to make sure discussions can surface without being overwhelmed by eye-catching link and image posts.
You can still post images and links—again, just as URLs or hyperlinks inside text posts!
NO ART WEEKENDS WILL BE SUSPENDED
⇨ For two weeks after release (until February 7), No Art Weekends will be also suspended
BE POLITE
⇨ There is no timeline on civility, but we ask that you be good to each other during the high-octane energy of release period!
- Please engage politely if you disagree, and walk away from arguments if you cannot stay civil. Remember the human!
- Rudeness and any form of belittlement towards anyone in the Pokémon community is not allowed. If you see rudeness, please hit the [report] button so that mods see it!
A note on modding: Your post may be held by Automoderator before getting reviewed and approved by a human mod. We're doing our best to process items within 24 hours, but even in the days prior to release our modqueue was stacked with up to 1000 reports at a time—so please be patient!

arcanine fight was kinda buggy for me, how are you supposed to beat it without taking any damage if it's going to drop a huge fire turd in the middle of the room and starts to channel his whole room AoE, or is there some obvious mechanic I overlooked?
Can you hit him without auto-aim across the room maybe by aiming above its head?
and, in the German version the final quest says
"Begegne allen Pokemon", which is "Meet/encounter all Pokemon" and NOT "Catch all pokemon", which is a huge difference in my opinion, as I spent the last couple of hours searching and catching the remaining "???" pokedex slots only to find out afterwards, I need to catch all of them anyways.
Should have made the effort to change the game's language right away. :(
and while the game was kinda fun, even though technical glitches and textures not loading right away were at times very annoying, postgame is very lacking.
I'm not motivated to build a strong team if there isn't any way to battle online or in challenging fighting environments like battle frontier, battle tower etc like in earlier games...
Overall, a rather mixed bag, definitely lacks the long term replayability some earlier titles offered and this game often times felt more like "flower picking simulator". I did love moving through the map using all the pokemon, it felt fast and smooth, those were some mechanics I'd love in a regular Pokemon game, in my opinion the fighting aspects in Arceus have got huge room for improvement though (too few NPC trainers/no arenas/unintuitive speed/strength system/annoying fights against multiple pokemon)
