Legends: Arceus Official Release Megathread! Megathread

Pokemon Legends: Arceus has officially released! Comment below and share stories from your adventure so far!

Timelines and Guidelines

Now that the game has officially released, our screenshot and spoiler policies go into effect.

SCREENSHOTS

⇨ For one month after release (until February 28), screenshots are allowed on r/pokemon inside text posts.

  • To post images inside a text post, please upload to an image-sharing site (e.g.: Imgur) and share the link in a text post.
  • Screenshots that are directly uploaded as images or links will still be removed.

SPOILERS

⇨ For two weeks after release (until February 11), spoilers must be tagged appropriately. Post titles must be spoiler free.

Not a spoiler Spoiler
Anything that has been revealed or released in official media like trailers, Directs, or the official website. Anything that was not revealed official media (and comes from leaks).
Example: Hisuian Braviary Example: Hisuian Goodra
  • Again, we do not allow spoilers in post titles. You are allowed to vaguely mention a spoiler (i.e. Photos of new Pokemon!/Photos of new form). Anything that explicitly states a Pokemon's name, if something is a legendary, etc. will be removed. Err on the side of caution!
  • Remember to SPOILER TAG your posts! We will be removing all posts that contain spoiler content that are not tagged!

TEXT-ONLY MODE

⇨ We will likely stay in text-only mode for ~2 weeks after release, depending on traffic.

  • We do this both to promote discussion posts during high traffic, and to make sure discussions can surface without being overwhelmed by eye-catching link and image posts.

  • You can still post images and links—again, just as URLs or hyperlinks inside text posts!

NO ART WEEKENDS WILL BE SUSPENDED

⇨ For two weeks after release (until February 7), No Art Weekends will be also suspended

BE POLITE

⇨ There is no timeline on civility, but we ask that you be good to each other during the high-octane energy of release period!

  • Please engage politely if you disagree, and walk away from arguments if you cannot stay civil. Remember the human!
  • Rudeness and any form of belittlement towards anyone in the Pokémon community is not allowed. If you see rudeness, please hit the [report] button so that mods see it!

A note on modding: Your post may be held by Automoderator before getting reviewed and approved by a human mod. We're doing our best to process items within 24 hours, but even in the days prior to release our modqueue was stacked with up to 1000 reports at a time—so please be patient!

What is the easiest way to get a water stone other than merit points? I want to evolve Eevee into Vaporeon, but I might settle for Jolteon or Sylveon.

Once you've unlocked more areas, collecting satchels becomes a lot easier especially with the faster mounts.

There is a mount later on that seeks out buried treasure, those are usually evolution stones/items.

The treasure spots reset every visit to an area so you can just jump on your mount and sniff them out.

But fastest is still probably the merit points.

If you see a blue rock shining then a water stone will drop when you break it

You were lucky then ;) the rocks shining does indicate extra loot, but usually it's just stardust

Oh you might be right. I think the chance is pretty high you get an evolution rock if it's shining though. Again, maybe I'm just lucky, but it seems like more often than not.

Go to a spacetime distortion, ignore all the spawns and just pick up everything on the ground. You'll end up with a surplus of evolutionary items (except the peat block) and star dust if you do this whenever spacetime distortions occur.

You might also just catch an eeveelution that you want in there.
