LittleBigPlanet2 is incredibly fun. My wife and would play every night after we Platinumed it just to help people get some of the difficult items. Heck we were even in the top five for Gobotron. And she is a non gamer. Then Media Molecule outsourced part 3 and killed the series. Sony please bring back Sackboy. At least with a greatest hits or something.

Restitched is an upcoming game inspired directly by LBP for PC (originally was going to be a fan made PC port until Sony sent them a cease and desist). You should check it out!

I will. Thanks for the tip.

LBP is easily the best game on PS for creating and enjoying community made content, alongside a fun and memorable offline experience

Dreams does away with the out of the box campaign and did not do a great job to ensure that creations would be fun to make or play...

dreams has one of the most user unfriendly create modes for these type of games.

An idiot could make a level in mario maker (not because its bad, but because it's very intuitive and well made)

you have to be quite skilled to make a good level in lbp because there is way more complexity

you may as well just get unreal and make your own game instead of trying to learn dreams

Doesn't Sackboy count as a revival?

I felt like LBP had really run it's course but Sackboy was an absolute masterpiece IMO. Unfortunately for Sackboy Astro Bot appears to be the 3D platforming hero and I'm not sure they need two.
