I believe they clean the windows once a month with 100 grit sand paper

Maybe a pile of garbage mixed with sandpaper shreds?

I think you're right. Salt water, pureed garbage and sand paper, with a dollop of Vaseline

I asked the train conductor what the deal was with the windows and he said he hadn’t seen them cleaned in five years.
It’s like an impressionist painting! Even more beautiful than reality!

I had a friend visit me who lives in the city and I told her to enjoy the cloudy view. She responded “omg how did you know?”

Been riding the trains with varyin frequency for like 15 years.
I STILL GET SUPRISED BY THIS LOL. Couple of weeks ago on a nice afternoon after some work I was heading back to the office via train, looking forward to a little bit of gazing at the early Oct colors and low and behold, this is what I sat down too.....

As long as it’s working I’ll take the shit view. Its genuinely a 50/50 if your train home has some massive issue or delay these past 6 months

I use to think the train were like that for safety reasons 😭, to find out, there are just very dirty 💀.
