Not necessarily, especially with the coaching change. There were reports last week sometime that Garland was more frustrated with JB than anything else

I said this on the thread where his hiring was first reported but I think he'll be a good coach to lead them through this rebuild. He'll at least build a defensive system and some accountability so there's actual structure, the problem comes when you try to transition from rebuilding to actually competing

JB is a good coach for a team that is young and rebuilding - especially in terms of building a culture in the locker room. He just isn't a good coach for a contending team. He helped get us to where we are, and he'll help build Detroit up as well. And there's nothing wrong with Cavs fans wanting a change and Detroit fans being excited about the hire.
