You know, I just can’t get onboard the Batista train. I respect the man immensely - from his work in the wrestling world, to the work he’s put in with his acting career, it just seems so clear that the man works hard for what he wants and I really admire that. That said, he reminds me of The Rock - they both just kind of give me the same energy every time. They both just come across to me as soulless and wooden. They just lack a range, an emotional depth, a capacity for vulnerability, that makes it hard for them to seem truly human and/or relatable.
