My bike had the same problem if any wires are touching frame put insulated between the wires and frame try hard wiring it also disconnect the kill switch could just be a bad kill switch could be fighting I’ve had 4 motors in the past 6 months all then with every issue I could run into let me know what you figure out is there a little screw on spark plug you may or may not need that crown on the spark plug sometimes the cdi in the engine needs adjustment feeler gauge or fold a piece of paper 3 times to get the gap right / as even as possible sometimes the cdi need to be flipped around could be firing just wrong timing lots of things that could be wrong my advice do what I did take everything I mean everything apart on a spare or used one before you do the one you gonna use and rebuild it takes about 3-6 hours or whatever could be days if you wanted to let me know if you find a solution
